Miranda clenched her fists. "If only I knew what was wrong with her! Then I could help more than this!" ((Should u bring Alec back? Or should they go looking for Max themselves?))

Jace led Alec down the hallway, stopping at Max's door. "You should probably go in," Alec said in a small voice.

Inside Max heard them talking and had no idea what to tell them.

"How about we both go in, then?" Alec suggested, not wanting to fight with Jace, especially considering that there were more pressing matters at hand. Turning to push open the door, Alec stopped short when he heard a crash coming from another room. Alec shot Jace a glance, "Should we go check it out?"

((Sorry! ))"That isn't true," Miranda offered, now feeling slightly guilty. She applied an iratze on Chloe while she kept talking, "It's not like I could ever fight if something attacked me." She was applying the runes faster now, while she talked anxiously, "You had to save me last time, remember? And it's not like I could save-" She was cut off by dropping her stele from moving it to fast. Forgetting to pick it up, she just put her head into her palms and said, "Forget it. Okay? Just forget it."
((That's fine. I was just wondering :D))Sierra bent down to pick up the stele. She was not used to comforting someone, especially when she herself was so upset but she awkwardly put an arm around Miranda's shoulders. "She'll be fine." she said. "It's not that bad."

Max heard the two boys walk away and quietly opened the door, he needed to look in the training room to see what he hit Chloe with.

Max looked at at the weapons Jace had spread out for them to look at. He had hit Chloe with one while Jace wasn't looking and she said she was fine, but he wasn't so sure.
Miranda looked up to Sierra and forced a half smile. "I know you probably don't comfort people often, so thanks."Alec walked with Jace over to the spot where he had heard the crash. They entered the library and found one of the books on the floor, open to a certain page.
"Yeah. You're right." she said and for once, actually smiled. "My first time, actually. It's a new experience."
Miranda couldn't help but laugh at that. "You should try it more often," She prompted, grinning in spite of herself. "You'll see many more smiles if you do."

((Yeah. That's a good idea))Isabelle wondered where everybody was. The place seemed so quiet. She'd heard talking from the sickroom and now went towards it. She stopped short at the door when she saw the girl lying on the bed.
Miranda looked up to see Isabelle standing above them. "Isabelle," She began, looking nervously at Chloe, who was still sprawled on the bed, motionless. "...Things have happened in the last hour." Miranda looked to Sierra. "You explain."
Chloe could hear voices, but when she tried to talk no sound came out an she couldn't move.
"We don't know what's wrong with her." Sierra said. "We tried iratzes but nothing's working." she paused. "Max knows something." she said. "But he won't tell us because he's scared he did something wrong." Isabelle listened quietly, for once not interrupting. "Where's Max?" she asked finally.
Max was in the weapons room, looking for what he hit Chloe with. A bow? No, A mace? no they didn't touch that.
"He's in the weapons room, I think." Sierra said. "He won't come out." "I'll go get him." Isabelle said and walked out of the room.
Jace and Alec were looking for what made the loud bang, but found nothing,but Church, the cat.
"Max?" Isabelke rapped on the door of the wepon's room.
"Isabelle?"He said slowly.
"You can come in." Max looked at the floor .

Isabelle opened the door of the room and first, ran over to him and hugged him. "What happened?" she asked, bending down so she was facing him.
Max saw that he couldn't walk out he said. "Jace let us in here to look at weapons and I think I hit her with something.But I can't remember what. She said she was fine and Jace didn't notice so I believed her." Max whispered. "I didn't mean to hurt her, I promise. She's the only one that likes what I like besides Clary."
"It's okay," Isabelle said soothingly. "I know you didn't mean to. It was just an accident." she looked around the room. "Now this is really important Max. Can you remember what you hit her with. Do you have any idea?"
"I know it wasn't a bow, or a mace, or a stele. But maybe it was a wood sword or a knife's end."
Isabelle looked at all the knives around the room. "Did she get really badly hurt?" she asked "Did she start bleeding or something?"
"No she just glared at me. Like her really scary glare she gives Jace and Alec."
"She must have gotten hurt." Isabelle said more to herself. "Come on Max." she got up. "You want to see her, don't you?"
"Sure, but don't tell Jace I told you we were in the weapons room, he told me not to tell you." Max said as he got up.
"Okay." Isabelle smiled at him, putting an arm around his shoulder. "I won't."
"But your going to get mad at him anyway right?" Max leaded against his sister and smiled.
"He shouldn't have done that." she said seriously. "You're too young to handle weapons now."
"I know but Chloe was saying she wanted to just SEE them and Jace let us in." Max said
"He shouldn't have." Isabelle insisted. "But it's okay as long as Chloe is all right."
"She better be."Max whispered

Jace and Alec were back with Chloe, when Isabelle and Max came in. Isabelle looked like she could kill some one, he didn't doubt she could he'd seen it many times.
Alec looked up in surprise. "Isabelle," He began. "Chloe's been hurt and-""She knows," Miranda said, cutting Alec off.
"Oh," Alec said, glaring at Miranda. The. He turned back to Isabelle, "Do you think you know what's wrong?"
"Come here Max." Isabelle said pulling him closer to Chloe. She looked at Alec and mouthed. 'I'll tell you later.' "Where did you hit her?" she asked Max softly.

"Her left side." Max whispered looking away from Chloe to Jace.
Jace's eyes flashed gold and Max shook his head.
