Miranda smiled at Sierra, "Are you always late?" Opening the door, she held it open for Sierra. "Ready to go?" She asked.
Alec sighed, "I'm going up to my room to read a book, would you like to join me there, too, Amy? I figured you'd like to, I mean, you've intruded everywhere else, why not one last place?" And with that Alec walked out of the training room, down the hall, up the stairs, an to his room.
"Is he always a jerk? Or did I do something to make him mad?" Amy asked.
"He'll be all right." Isabelle said. "He's always like this with new people."
((Can you bring Amy to the door soon, I think they're about to leave.))

"Ok, so I'll go join the other new people." Amy sighed and walked over to Sierra and Miranda
Isabelle scowled. "Okay." she said sourly. "See you later."
Sierra looked at Amy. "Are YOU coming too?" she asked. Clearly, her nice demeanor was only towards Miranda.
"She's allowed to come," Miranda laughed. "It's not a private event, Sierra." She have Sierra a reassuring smile, hoping to let Sierra know it was okay.
Sierra made a face but didn't say anything else. She just walked out of the door.
Miranda followed after her, walking at a hurried pace.
Miranda walked into the institute, James following behind her.Alec heard people enter the Institute, and figured it must be the girls coming back. He got out of bed and went down to check on them, the Angel knows what they could have gotten themselves into,
"This is the Institute." Sierra said. "It looks really nice but most of the people in it suck."
Just then Alec walked in and took looked at the girls, his eyes drifted from Amy, to Miranda, to Sierra, to... James. "Who's that?" Alec asked, glaring at James.James glared back at Alec, "That has a name, and it's James, if you were wondering. And Sierra's right," He said, grinning at Sierra. "So far you do suck."
Sierra surprised at the grin, smiled back slightly. She hoped Alec hadn't heard what she said though even if he hadn't, Jameshad already yold him. "Now there's another new person for you to hate." she said to Alec. "You just keep on getting luckier.
Alec looked taken aback, "New person," He said, looking confused, and then realization dawned on him. "So he's staying? Is everyone coming to this institute now?!"
Miranda laughed, "Time to get of you comfort zone!"
"Looks like it." Sierra said, her voice dripping with malice. "Soon, it'll be so crowded that you'll have to move out."
Alec rolled his eyes, "In case you don't know, my parents run this place, so I won't be kicked out." He smirked at her, "However, if it does get overly crowded, I'll make sure you'll be the first one to leave."James could feel rage building up in him. He hated people who were entitled, and didn't let you forget it. "Lay off of her," He said, gritting his teeth.
((Sorry. I went off cos I had to eat breakfast))Sierra was surprised yet again. She turned to James. "You don't have to defend me." she said coolly. "I can maage him myself." she looked at Alec. "Now I'm wondering who I hate more. You, your sister or Jace. And, it's a sure tie." she glared at him and walked upstairs to her room without looking back.
((It's okay :D))Miranda ran off after Sierra, wanting to make sure she was okay. ((Do you want to continue their path in Sierra's room?))
James clenched his fists, "Great job.. Alec, was it? Whatever your name is, you've managed to piss of a hell of a lot of people." James made his way to the rooms, but turned to say one last thing, "And no need to help me to my room, I'll find it myself." And he left.

Jace found Amy roaming a hallway and rolled his eyes. "What are you doing?"
"Looking around, it's the only thing to do."
"Looking around, it's the only thing to do."
Alec walked up to the two, looking extremely angry- which was really the only way he had looked all day. "Have you met the new guy?" He said, purposefully ignoring Amy. "He's just as bad as all the others."
"Nope. Don't want to. Amy's nice though." Jace pointed out.
Alec squinted at Jace, as though trying to read his expression. "Nice?" He asked, shaking his head. "You only met her today!"
"So.. She's nicer then the others. She didn't fight us to prove something." Jace glared at his best friend.
Alec sighed, "You barely know her, Jace. You can't always make rash decisions."
"I did with you, turns out I was right that time."
Alec blew a strand of hair out of his face, looking annoyed. "Doesn't mean you'll always be right," He replied in a low, serious tone.
Just then, James exited his room. He had finished unpacking and had wanted to explore more of the Institute, however, he had unknowingly stumbled upon Jace, Alec, and Amy whilst exploring. He was about to turn away, but decided it was better to get acquainted with his new house-mates, rather than run away from them--despite how annoying some specific ones were. He walked up to them, turned to Jace, and said, "Hello, I'm James. I guess I'll be living in this institute for awhile, so we might as well get to know each other's names. Mine, as I had just said, is James. Uhm, I guess what I mean to ask is what's yours?" He sheepishly grinned, knowing how awkward he must have sounded.
((Sierra can come in here maybe?))
Sierra was just passing that way to get to her room when she heard James' voice. She was just going to quickly pass by that way when she heard him making a total, utter fool of himself. "Stupid." she muttered. She'd told him to stay away from the others. She swore under her breath and walked towards him, She was sure he would be very much in need of backup and she could provide it. "Stop blabbering." she muttered under her breath as she came and stood next to him.((I seriously cannot match up to your long posts! Sorry!))
((It's alright! Not all my posts are long, anyways :D))Alec looked from Sierra to Jamee, and then laughed. He couldn't believe that Sierra was trying to help someone other than Miranda. Besides, she was making fool out of herself trying to help him, and it was amusing to watch.
However, Alec did know what it was like to be in an awkward situation, and James was a shadowhunter, and it wasn't like Jace was going to fall madly in love with James, so why shouldn't he be a bit nice to the newcomer?
But they had fought when they'd first met...
Well, maybe Alec wouldn't be nice to James now, but, if James was helpful, and wasn't always rude, then he wouldn't rule out the possibility.
And even if he started being nice to James later on, that didn't mean he couldn't still provoke Sierra. He wouldn't let her off so easy.
"That's nice, Sierra." Alec said smirking. "Standing up for you're boyfriend."
Sierra's cheeks reddened and her eyes flashed angrily towards Alec. "He's not my boyfriend!" she said. "And I'm just making sure that he doesn't make a total fool of himself because if he does, you're going to be really merciless about it." she glared at him, not looking at James. "By the way," she added with a malicious glint in her eyes. "Don't YOU have a boyfriend? Or does nobody like you because of your charming nature?" she smiled, knowing she'd hit him in the right place.
"Ok, Sierra, leave, just go some where else and leave Alec alone." Jace snapped as he pointed to the door.
"I'm not the one who srarted it." she turned to Jace coolly. "I'm just the one who's better at it."
"I don't care, leave, or I'll get you kicked out of teh institute. If I can't do that, I'll make you eat Isabel's cooking for the rest of the time you're here, leave." He glared down(?) at her.
((No. She's pretty tall. I don't think he can glare down at her))"You can't make me do anything." Sierra smirked. "You don't even own this place. The Lightwoods do and sadly, you're not one of them."
Alec stood there, frozen. He couldn't believe how...how... How absolutely out of place she had been! ((Before or after Malec? I'm quite confused about where in the plot line we are.)) James glared at Jace, "You should lay off of Sierra. You should show her some respect, considering she kicked your butt in fighting." Knowing that'd piss Jace off, he added, "Yeah, I heard about the fight earlier."
((Let's say it's after Malec))Sierra was glad of the damage she'd done but somehow, the fact that Alec did not reply made her feel a slight bit of regret. He ALWAYS replied. She stood there for a minute more, not knowing what to say and then started walking away as quickly as she had come, for once feeling that she had made a mistake taking part in the argument.
James went after Sierra, jogging slightly to catch up. "You alright?" He asked, once he had caught up with her. James knew she was probably feeling remorseful about the snide comment she'd made toward Alec.
"Why are you following me?" she asked. "of course I'm allright. I've never been better Just going to sleep." she started walking faster. "And you should probably stay in you room too." she said. "Because I'm not going to help you if you act that stupid again."
