Wow, Mary thanks for getting me to read Highland Guard series again. I was bored by the first book and then just kept putting away the second book for later.

I finished and and loved them. As I finally fell into the story I'll probably read one or two more books from the series this month and maybe catch up with it by the time next book comes out

I am on vacation at my dad's who doesn't have a computer and so no wifi. Working on my phone and my kindle fire on a very limited data plan. I jua finished a book fir my april series. Cant really post a series list for may yet. Forgot to look for the thread before we left. Will check back in to see if its not too late when i get home next week.

I just wanted to ask a question, if you get current with a series does that count towards finishing a series or does it only count if the series is finished and you completed it?

I count getting current as finishing because you have finished what has been published :D

LOL, I've tried sooo hard to not start any new series and work on my on-going ones. But, I too have no will power, let me see, to date, I have finished 9 series, abandoned 2 and started 21, but really only 11 if you don't count read for reviews, which may or may not have another book out in the series.

Of course, whenever you restrict me then as soon as it's lifted, I'll go crazy, so I will probably start 30 new series next year. Maybe I just need to do this challenge every other year! Hmmm...

How did you do FWYS in 2014?
Here's my recap/report:

I met my goal of finishing 5 series, I expect to finish or be up-to-date on 7 series by the end of December...

but for 3 of the series I 'finished' a new book came out in 2014. If I was up-to-date before the new pub'n, I counted it toward this challenge.

I started fewer new series this year because this challenge made me more aware of how many incomplete series I have (too many to count). And I quit two of the series that I was reading.

I'm in again for 2015 and increasing my goal to complete 7 series (though I'm hoping to finish 10). Some of these series have 5-10+ unread books!

My final tally for 2014 will be 6 series completed or up-to-date. My goal was to finish 5. I finished one more series this month and read the newest pub'n in another series - it came out late this year after I was up-to-date. Since I started it this year, I'm not sure whether the 6th series counts for this challenge.

The most I read was 11 books in the Carola Dunne, Daisy Dalrymple series. I still have 5 or 6 to go so it's not included in my FWYS tally. Hope to get up-to-date on this one in 2015.

I got current with 7 series and finished 13 of my series - 20 total with a goal of 15. I love this challenge - so helpful with the tbr - now if I could stop starting series LOL
