Vaelin Hi all,

I have absolutely no idea where to begin with David Weber's books....any suggestions would be before you get up on your high horse and screech like a banshee at me that he is sci fi.....I understand there is a distinct action/adventure element to his books too

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 794 comments I loved his Honor Harrington series which is Horatio Hornblower in space. Definitely SF Action (the capital 'A' was no mistake.) Most of his books are action SF & all that I've read were quick, good reads. I've given a few 4 stars, most are solid 3 stars, IMO.

I started with a free copy of On Basilisk Station from the Baen website. It stands alone well enough, but is the first of the Honor series. It sucked me in & I've bought most of it.
