Sean O'Hara (seanohara) | 2365 comments Tomorrow, the 22nd of November, marks the 50th anniversary of one of the most important days in science fiction history. On that day in 1963, in a coincidence that rivals Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both dying on the 4th of July 1826, Aldous Huxley and C.S. Lewis both died and the first episode of Doctor Who aired on the BBC. I believe some minor American politician died as well, but that's really only notable because it became a plot for Quantum Leap.
