Shannon, I get what you mean but when a person tells you and shows you over and over that he cares or wants to care and do nice things yet she keeps pushing him away or keep doubting him ... I can't deal with that. I know she is vulnerable and I sympathize but her (view spoiler) clearly didn't bother him so WTF????? I just hate when people would rather shrivel up and die alone than take a chance, does this make sense???

He's pushing her away (view spoiler) Besides, I love character flaws and both of these characters have them in spades. You will probably love Bella, she's beautiful and I'm sure a no holds barred type since she's being paired with Zsadist.
I think Bella will be a LOT better than Mary... I loved this book, because of RHAGE... Mary can take a hike...
Shannon, the way I see it (view spoiler) I have aboslutely NOTHING against average looking/flawed characters but I hate it when she keeps THINKING stuff to herself rather than talking/asking him. I know he is partially at fault too but I can see how he doesn't want to scare her away. What can I say, she just got under my skin in a wrong way and I won't be changing my mind about her any time soon. I keep reading with lots of eye rolling and groaning when come across chapters that are more than 5 pages long.
I'm in the minority yet again! 
Shannon, I think there is a 50/50 split on Mary but I am proud to say that I think I hate her the most! LOL!

I agree. She only had that particular reaction in the restaurant. It never came up again. I can handle a bad reaction at first as long as they don't continue to do whatever I don't like. It shows character development. That's why I'm loving it so much! Plus that she is vulnerable over her (view spoiler)[scars (hide spoiler)]. Most people would be and that she thinks he's so perfect compared to because of how he looks when he could care less about his looks or even hers for that matter. I don't think she is really attractive because nobody else really goes on about it. I think with her it's about more than that. Anyway, I LOVE her! We have to have some sweet people in the world that can cook.
