The very first one was EXO. I listened to monster heaps, but I wasn't really into kpop much. I still haven't really gotten into EXO to be honest... But my first major obsession was Big Bang. I still really love Big Bang.

My first group was Fiestar. I listened to "I Don't Know" for like a month straight. I didn't really start branching out in k-pop until I found Exo though.
I don't really remember.. It could be SS501 or MBLAQ
I think it was BAP, but at that time. I didn't know what Kpop was.
I saw BAP in London, they were filming an Mv. I didn't know them, but I noticed they were famous so I took a photo and then searched for them in the Internet. That's how I listened to my first Kpop songs. I became a fan of Kpop at the beginning of 2015, I had already forgotten BAP. I 'discovered' Kpop again through nightcore and mmd.
I saw BAP 2014, and know I'm angry because I began to like them 1 year after standing 5 meters away from Zelo.... aaaghhhhrr
Mine was SS501 and I just got hooked lol but what group really grabbed me was EXO!!!!! I just LOVE them!!!! But BTS is another one of my favorite K-pop groups!! ♡♡♡
I met EXO through Scarlet Heart...I think they made the best Ost of 2016 ^^
It was Super Junior, that was the first group I listened to so they have a special place in my heart (and I won one album at a giveaway so it's even better).I got really into the genre when I discovered Big Bang and SNSD as well, as I saw that KPop is damn diverse music wise :D
Oh and I was at the SM Town concert in Paris (hm..2011?), so all the groups in SM seem very likeable ^.^
The first ever KPop band I have ever listened to was KARA. I was into JPop for a long time and then my friend told me to try KPop since its way better. So I typed in KPop on Youtube and KARA had just come out with their STEP Album. And their music video was the number one most popular music on Youtube that time. I clicked it. BAM hooked right away! And ever since then I have only listened to KPop. Never JPop. KPOP WOOT!!! Now I am really into BlackPink.
WOW, I love this question...My first girl group was actually the Wonder girls "Nobody".
My first boy group was Beast (Bad Girl).
Then after that I listened to Big Bang/2PM and 4-Minute and then 2NE1.
It's crazy how these groups are completely disbanded or on indefinite hiatus. :( Time flies.
My first was SES and the song was I'm Your Girl. Old school.
Honestly, I had been listening to kpop that my friend had put on my laptop for a while before I realized what it actually was, so the first group that I listened to was probably Block B. When I actually started getting into it tho, I think the first song I heard was Breathless by Astro.
So, the first group I listened would probably be old school Kpop by now, but it was because of Boys Over Flowers: SS501I've now gotten into Nu Min-wu's (Iconic) music and X4 came to Fanime in my hometown. They were fantastic. And of course, I'd heard of BTS, and was so happy to see them on the American Music Awards on Sunday.
My daughter got me into it with Big Bang - Fantastic Baby and Shinee - Lucifer a few years ago. Been a multi fandom kpop fan since.

DBSK when they still were 5 and "T" was their album, down there on 2008 when I was in 9th grade x333... that same year I remember listening to a debut group called SHINee... so long a go.

BTS. The first song was DNA and it was in 2017
Super Junior. A friend at a summer music camp in 2012 had pulled up the music video for me. It was the slow version of Super Junior's "Sorry, Sorry". The rest is history!
I think it was BTS :) But from the title I remember Tiger JK - Reset (it from the drama School 2015)

honestly im suprised i havent seen this yet but the first song i listened to was Gangnam Style by PSY (although idk if soloists count) but the first group was probably either BTS ore BlackPink.... not sure which

Mine was was either B1A4 or INFINITE.
Mine was GOT7. I found out about them in 2018 when I was scrolling on Netflix and they had their own show lol.

The first kpop song I ever heard was 2ne1 - I am the best. My first kpop music video was SHINee - Ring Ding Dong
BTS. I think it was Life Goes On but I fell in love with them due to their SNL performance of BOY WITH LUV <3year was 2021 I **think**
