Nickname:Chris
Gender:Male
Sexuality:Straight
Age:18
Date of Birth:September 23rd
Appearance:

Distinct Markings:His tattoos which can be seen in his appearance.
History:Chris remembers growing up when the barcode tattoo first came out. He was five at the time, and his sister was only a year younger than him. Both of their parents wanted to be kept in the loop of society, so they both volunteered to get the tattoo. Things got better for their family. Chris wanted and tried to be a role model for his sister, but he was always a goof ball. They got worse, though, when their dad killed himself. Chris ended up coming home one day, and he found his dad collapsed on the living room floor, with a pool of blood under his head, and a gun inches away from his hand. Beside him, on the table, was a suicide note. There were only four words on it. “The tattoo is evil.” Since then, Chris has had to be strong since he is the man of the house now. Mom’s been a nervous wreck with trying to maintain two jobs to keep food on the table. On top of that, Chris hasn’t gotten the tattoo yet.
Personality:Chris is a natural born leader. He’s very humble when it comes to leading a group of people, because he never wants to take credit for any sort of role he takes in being a leader. He’s an athlete as well- basketball, soccer, and baseball are his specialty. He’s got the brains and intelligence that a stereotypical athlete wouldn’t have, but since he doesn’t have the tattoo, he can’t get a scholarship to any college of his choice. He feels the heavy weight of trying to be the positive one in the family, on top of being reminded constantly that his dad isn’t there.
Strengths:His athletic and leadership abilities
Weaknesses:Being reminded of his unfortunate situation with his education and his dad
Family:Mother and Sister
Other:I have a close friend who looks very similar to the appearance for this character.

Age: 14
Date of Birth: 31st October
Appearance:

Distinct Markings: One tattoo: blue black horizontal line across the inside of her wrist.
Sexuality: Straight
Gender: Female
Personality:
Lena has a fiery temper, and often gets into fights with her brother. This is mainly because, ever since their father died, he's become quite protective of his little sister. Well, either that or he pretends Lena isn't around. She is close to him, however, well, at least closer than what she is to her mother. She is, however, often very quiet. Before her father died she was bubbly girl, full of laughter, and now she rarely speaks, just listens to her brother and mother at the dinner or breakfast table. She often prefers to skip lunch to give herself more time alone.
History:
Two years ago Lena's life changed. Her father killed himself, and still she wonders why. Ever since, she's become more enclosed within herself. She misses him. A lot. Her father was always there for her, and now she's got a mother (who she never was close to) and a big goof ball or overprotective older brother. She loves both of them, but it's not the same without their father.
Family: Older Brother and Mother
Other: Nothing.

Chris made his way up the stairs that lead to the house that he lived in with his sister and his mother. On his way home from work, it had begun to rain and the grey sky suddenly became more grey. Chris didn't think that that was even possible, but it apparently was. He was wearing a black zip up hooded jacket that provided little to protection from the rain. When he opened the door to his house, walked in, then closed it behind him, he was dripping wet. His shirt born hair plastered to his head, and his shoes squeeked as he removed them from his feet. "Jesus Christ, it's freezing outside," he muttered to himself. Even if he did have a job, he couldn't afford to get a car. If he wanted a car, he had to get the barcode tattoo. That wasn't going to happen anytime soon. His mom was the only one with a bar code tattoo, and she didn't want to spend money on that that. So Chris had to walk or take the bus everywhere. Today the bus wouldn't let him rode since he didn't have the tattoo.
