I did the update manually today. I looked at it quickly and while I can see my update feed and my list of books, I don't see any way to get to groups or do posting. It could be good for someone who is new to GR since he/she could copy over all their amazon books to his/her new GR account instead of manually inputting titles and editions.

Also, more good news. It's now available for the Paperwhite (which is what I have). I'll do the update tonight and see how it goes.
Finally! I hope the integration works smoothly since it's really only the rating part. I don't think I will need the import books feature. It does sound pretty cool to fling shows to my tv. I'll definitely have to try that.

I honestly will only do the "fling to my TV" if it comes out as an update to my Sony BluRay player and not for my PS3. The fan on the PS3 is crazy loud. It really wouldn't that many extra steps for me to start up the BluRay and open the native Amazon video app.
I have last yrs fire HD & I have the latest update. I can't find where in the goodreads app to sync my accounts. Has anyone with last yrs model had any luck?
I have a Fire HD 8.9 that I bought last year and apparently this update is only available for the Fire HD 2nd Generation (not to be confused with the Fire HDX). I didn't even know there was a second generation of these. So long story short: I am disappointed.http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custome...

Also in the update is "Second Screen" technology which allows you to watch show on your Kindle Fire on Samsung TV's or on your PS3-connected TV.
Anyone excited for this? Plan to use it? Indifferent?
