Swift let out a soft whimper when he sat up, lolling his tongue.
Shimmer yawned and allowed a slight grin of amusement.
Swift looked at Shimmer.
Swift looked at Sunset, "Hey." he smiled, looking at her.
Shimmer looked at Sunset, admiring her wings. I wish I had wings. she thought with a sigh.
"Yes." Shimmer nodded, drawing herself up.
"Of course." Shimmer nodded, defiance flashing in her eyes.
((Kay....uhh. The first leader died. Shimmer is now leader. New wolfs joined. That's about it.))Shimmer watched Sunset go and sat down, finishing her meal.
Laila yawned and stumbled into the little bush set up for the young wolves. As her wings folded against her back and her eyes drifted closed with sleep, she had only one thought: I hope Mama is happy. Unknown to her was the fact that her lineage was that of the royal winged wolves, and by adopting her Shimmer had made herself royalty. Technically, she should have been very happy.
