Lynda Wilcox (lyndawrites) | 1059 comments Hey, you had books! Real live books.

I think I ought to stop going to these 'do's'. I always say the wrong things or make a fool of myself. It's not as if I'm decorative either. :(

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments I did - well the cleaner probably has them now! You were great!

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments at least you remembered to give your books out Sam. I ended up leaving mine in a drawer in my hotel room!

Like the Gideon bible? Might not be a bad tactic!

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments could well be Rosemary - though from what I saw in The Red Lion, I wouldn't be the only one!

Lol! I only remembered because I brought them down before the beer started flowing too quickly.

Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments I had such a wonderful time! Was so good to see you all again and great to meet Rosemary, Maureen, Debbie and Sam for the first time. I vowed to spend more time in the group now that home life is a lot more settled so here I am procrastinating whilst supposed to be studying!!!!

Lynda, I was really glad you were there - it was fantastic to meet you. And everyone else. (Except maybe Stuart... :-)

Aw, thanks, Sam. Nice to meet you, too. I could have done with the chance to speak to everyone, individually. Sadly there's never enough time at these affairs. Next time, I'm going to target. lol

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 8051 comments I'm not very professional either. Yoda says "do or do not. There is no try." He's talking bollocks I'm all try and no do phnark.

Cheers

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Professional is overrated, Mary. And I speak from experience here

message 368: by Stuart (new)

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments I am going to try and be a little more professional maybe on Thursdays

message 369: by M.T. (new)

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 8051 comments Stuart, that's the kind of thing I do. Perhaps we should have a #flakeyauthor group! Phnark.

Andy Elliott | 1446 comments Looks and sounds like you all had a nifty time. Hopefully they'll be one next year that I can inflict my presence upon you all. I'm still way too noob to be seen outside of a dialogue box at the mo, but like most pests and parasites once I get settled I'm a bugger to get rid of.

Dammit! I WAS in fancy dress. You don't think I'd go around looking like this from choice, do you? Tcha!

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments I'm not sure biggleswade is ready for Stuart in fancy dress
