Students will learn topics of plane and solid geometry, including properties of triangles, quadrilaterals, circles. Surface area and volume of solids are studied. Logic and deductive proof will be emphasized; also algebraic connections and calculations are reviewed. Applications and problem-solving are constantly woven through the curriculum. This course will prepare students for Algebra 2.
