This movie was awesome and hillarious at the same time. Adam Baldwin and the chick from the tv show terminator were great.. I also enjoyed the guy who was from a Knight's Tale too. Have you seen this movie?

ok uhm its kinda hard to explain and theres a lot to tell, I will be on later to tell.
Serenity is a follow-up to the TV show Firefly, which was cancelled in the middle of it's first season. There were many threads left hanging, so the movie was made to close some open storylines. It's best to watch the show first and then the movie, so you have at least some idea of what's going on. Part of the problem is that it's a sci-fi western. The population of Earth has taken itself to a Solar System with multiple suns and hundreds of planets. The outer planets are frontier worlds with a western motif, and the heroes of the show are essentially resistance fighters from the losing side of a civil war, doing small time work, occasional thefts, and still resisting. Then SHE comes along...

I LOVE Serenity and Firefly. So much I watch shows with its former stars on them, even when they are silly. One example is "Chuck". Why now that its in my mind I may pull it off the rack downstairs and watch it again!Lily
There was a romantic comedy called Serendipity a while back, with John Cusack. I don't know of any others with a similar name, and neither does www.IMDB.com .

Yes, Chuck the tv series. "Adam Baldwin (Jayne)is in it.
oh yeah I love adam baldwin... have you seen Day Break? he played Chad in it.
Chuck is also my favorite tv show.
Serenity was an enjoyable film, but I really liked the Firefly series. I've got the dvds of the one and only season it was on and pull them out and watch them occasionally just to get my Joss Whedon fix. The think I really hated about the movie was that Wash died. I still entertained the hope that the series would come back and didn't want to think about having a pilot other than Allen Tudyk.
