"first time for everything just like how awkward life can get on a first date." Turo joked.a waiter with blonde hair came and took their orders then returned to the kitchen.
"Turo," she said, flinching every time he said 'date', "This guy is still here. Please don't make me die of embarrassment."
"i'll collapse way before then." Turo assured. he placed his hands on the table, placed his hands together and played with his thumbs. "what have you been up to?"(what time is it where you come from?)
((Twelve PM))"Well... The guy is still in my pajamas, I think. I've been wondering why he doesn't just change back into his own armor." She noticed his shadow move out of the way of a waiter and activated the fast flash, handcuffing him to the rolling tray-table the waiter was pushing towards the kitchen. She then sat back down like nothing had happened.
when time unfroze Turo looked over to the rolling tray table and saw a man handcuffed there. "did you do that because it's not Zephyr, that's the head chief." Turo asked Zerai.Zephyr was chuckling quietly to himself, watching this all unfold.
(here it's an hour before dawn)
((Wow.))"Zephyr, that's his name?" she asked. "Well, I didn't do anything, I didn't move at all." She sat very primly, like nothing whatsoever had happened.
"when he showed us the documents it had a brief description of the ability 'time tack' also your hair suddenly switched which side it was parted on." Turo pointed out.Zephyr watched Zerai's hopeful getaway turn into a complete shambles.
(ya and I've been doing things all since yesterday and today and tonight aswell.)
((You tired?))"You know, this game was slightly enjoyable until he came along," she said, changing the subject and putting her elbow on the table, leaning on her hand.
"you could be right. he has become a nuisance to fight since he unlocked the unique skill 'darkness blade'"(kind of, but in the morning I have to go watch my siblings play t-ball so it might be a bit before we talk again.)
((Okay))"I don't care about his skills. I just want my life back and the guy not to always stay right behind me like some flipping puppy."
"you could agree to the idea of fighting him holding a pillow while you had high levelled armour." Turo suggested even though he knew he could get hit just for making the suggestion just as the blonde waiter came back with their meals.
She kicked him in the shin. "I don't know this guy. I don't know what he could pull or do or what, okay? And I don't want to lose my freedom because I was stupid enough to make a bet without knowing my opponent."
"i could challenge him separately so you can asses him and then you could fight him once you know his style of fighting." Turo suggested as he massaged his shin.(sorry gtg, ttyl hopefully. post something and i'll get back A.S.A.P. okay)
((Okay.))"No, I don't want you to get hurt, unless it's by me," she joked.
"oh, umm." Turo said with a slight nervousness in his voice. Zerai didn't want him to be hurt, that's a new change in attitude.
"Unless by me," she added, a little more heavily. What was this guy, a NPC?
"okay. have you actually seen him? when we entered I lost track of where Zephyr went." Turo asked more relieved now that she was back to her normal self.
"Well- well no, but I've seen his shadow," she pressed, a little alarmed that Turo didn't believe her. "You saw what he did on the battlefield."
"yeah. but picture if he only had a pillow and those pyjamas."
She laughed softly, trying to keep from making too much noise. "Turo, this is a high class place, we're not supposed to laugh," she chided, smiling.
"why not? this place is designed for people to lean back and relax however they want." Turo said as he indicated different spots around the room showing different methods for relaxation.
"I didn't- exactly plan on relaxing, coming here. I just wanted to get this guy off my back."
"but I think the situation has just got worse."
"What do you mean?" she asked, frowning slightly.
"we have no way to track him anymore now do we? we lost him and now we won't now what he could do." Turo said as he began to play with his fork.
"Like what? What's he gonna do, come here and handcuff me to him? Because I swear, that will only make life miserable for the both of us." She took a bite out of her dinner.
"or he could try this." Turo said as he flung the fork from his hands next to Zerai and had it stop in mid air with a muffled grunt."good eye." Zephyr said as he came into focus right behind Zerai holding a shoulder with a fork now in it.
She stood up promptly and pushed Zephyr away, hate in her face, and stormed off.
"see you later" Zephyr said with a wave as he went to follow Zerai. when he reached the door he put the fork in with the dirty plates."better get Rihan." Turo said to himself as he opened his intercom.
"Just go away!" She pushed at him. He'd ruined a perfectly nice conversation. She'd actually been enjoying Turo's company, something she hadn't expected. "Why can't you just leave me alone?!"
