"They do now that you mention it but be sure to point them out when you post your completed task!
Sandy wrote: "Are the leaves along the right side of the cover enough to work for this?
"Leaves work. I can't tell that they're leaves from the picture, but if they look like leaves on the actual book it'll work.

Thanks, Kristi - I have the physical book in hand and can see leaves much more clearly on the actual cover.

Would mistletoe work? :)
If yes, I'll go seek approval for conditional 5-point task."
Sure, mistletoe works.

The butterfly's sitting on one, too. It looks like forest covered mountains in the background. Lots of plants! You're good to go.

Yes, the flowers definitely work.

"Yep, still a plant. That will work. Although, it would help if you point out the grass and say that the book was approved in the help thread when you post the completed task. That way Sandy isn't searching for a green plant. ;-)

Is this the book you're asking about? (That picture was really, really tiny ◕‿◕)
If this is the book then, yes, it works for this task. It doesn't matter what the topic of the book is, just that it has plants on the cover.

The idea is to enjoy the plant life outside without having to deal with the weather (or the bugs!). Read a book with plants or plant parts (flowers, fruit, leaves, etc) on the cover. Examples:
