ABANDONED. book about a man obsessed by grammatical errors

Hi - this book is about a man who is obsessed by reading books and then finding grammatical errors and writing to the publisher or author about them. I can't remember what happens to him - maybe he gets murdered? Help!

While I haven't read it, there is a book called The Great Typo Hunt by Jeff Deck and Benjamin Herson. Could this be it?

I've actually heard of that one... It's non fiction. At one point the men are arrested...they were charged with defacing government property (and violating government statues)
