Kagama-the Literaturevixen | 599 comments I am trying to find a kindle ebook who I was reading on amazon when my computer suddenly restarted and then I couldnt remember the title.

It must have been published quite recently or at least only as old as some years.

The main character is a young woman who is an escaped slave living in a fantasy type of World.Shes very tall and her head is shaved as is the custom with slaves.

Shes escaped down a tunnel/cave from some Vicious dogs sent to track her down. She killed some of them with her sword.I Believe she had a mentor who thaught her to use it.

And that is as far as I read. Here is what I remember from the plot description.

In the cave she discovers and wakes up a sorceror who was kept in a magical sleep(?) Somehow they both end up in the future

Anyone knows this?

You're welcome. Does anything else come to mind...

YA or adult, romance, creatures like dragons, classic sword-and-sorcery?
What did she do as a slave; who was in charge?
If there's time travel, how did the starting place differ from the future?

Actually I found it and it was A Girl and Her Monster. Now I feel almost silly for even bothering people with this...

I appreciate the effort:)
