Lynn Montagano Hi everyone!

I'm really excited to be part of the Goodreads family. =) My name is Lynn Montagano and my debut series is being published by HarperImpulse. The first two books are available now (yay!) and yes, they're listed here on Goodreads. It's a contemporary romance series, with the emphasis on steamy romance. Plus, the hero is British so who can really resist an accent like that, right? ;)

Please don't be shy and feel free to connect with me here or on Twitter (@LynnMontagano) and Facebook (facebook.com/AuthorLynnMontagano) I'm very chatty. =)

Talk to you all soon!
Lynn xx

Daphne Chennault (daphnech) | 6 comments Hello Everyone! My name is Daphne, and I live in Maine. I am the author of Super Submission, an erotic novel set in a superhero world. My new erotica novel, Chief-Thief, will be published later this year.

Fifty Shades of Grey was my impetus for writing erotica. A girlfriend told me about it and I thought, Well if she can do it then I can too! I have two other manuscripts in production, and am eager to talk about the genre.

H.A. Kotys | 13 comments Hi all, nice to e-meet you.

For several years, I've written for fun for myself. I've read a lot of fiction and always thought that I could do that and sometimes 'I can do better'.

Thanks to the encouragement of friends, I finally took the plunge and self-published after they insisted my work had to be shared.

Scary at first, as the first sales started to tick up, scared changed to excited. Having been out less than 2 weeks, reviews are starting to come back and it's so encouraging that people are loving it!

So now the next three books in The Written Pictures series are being prepared for release - they've already been written but need the usual dusting down and sprucing up.

The first book was out 11th August and is called Descent Into Darkness.

This is a review I have received as an example on Amzaon UK

"I couldn't put this book down! if you liked 50 Shades Of Grey and the like, you'll love this - it blows them out of the water! well written, exciting and very racy. This book makes you feel you are the main character. Highly recommend. Well done H A Kotys - can't wait for the second one!"

Willo (WillowNoneaRae) | 3 comments Greetings All *-*

I'm Willow, an author of steamy paranormal romances and a paranormal bdsm romance serial, 'Petal.' I absolutely adore Summer and her Facebook feed, and I'm so excited to happen upon this group.

I read most genres, but have a strong preference for speculative fiction - steamy, erotic, and sweet.

Looking forward to finding good books, friends, and connecting with readers.

*salutes*

Rebecca Price | 1 comments Hi everyone I'm Becca, Fifty Shades of Grey was the first book and series I ever read. I fell in love, I couldn't put it down. I even would give up sleep so I could keep reading. It snapped something in me. In high school I despised reading every time I would read anything I would fall asleep and couldn't remember what I read so it was very frustrating so I gave up trying and I was a very slow reader. These books sparked my interest in reading and been reading everything in site. I loved everything about these books I can't wait to fine more. So suggestions are great Thank You.

Hi, I read FSOG at least 20 times. I fell in love with the characters and kink. One of my faves after fsog was This Love's Not for Sale by Ella Dominguez . the dialogue between the characters is sooooo funny.

Amy Pitts (apitts269) Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Amy and I was so taken with the Fifty Shades trilogy that it has sparked a renewed love of reading and an increased interest in a whole new genre of books. So far I have been through the Fifty Shades trilogy, Crossfire series, and am now in the middle of the Stark series. In fact I am on my way to the bookstore now for the third installment and anxiously awaiting the fourth in the Crossfire series. I am looking forward to reading many of the suggestions I have seen here so far. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day and it's so great to be among people with the same taste and interests as me!

Jillian Verne (goodreadscomjillianverne) | 13 comments Hello, darlings,

I am the indie author of The Masters of The Order series, which is quite literally meant to be what to read after Fifty Shades of Grey. Or maybe I should say before. For me, it started with Twilight. From there, I met Vishous, J.R. Ward's vampire Dom with a bite, and it was Doms ever after. Doms with a character and a plot and a reason to fall madly in love. My philosophy for writing is simple: the heart doesn't beat faster until the reader falls in love.

I live in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania with my husband, two daughters and one royal cat. I'm passionate about my family, romance, the beach and hockey. I have re-created myself so many times, I've lost count (lawyer, mother, finance guru, professor, writer). But life is too short for small boxes.

I'm really excited to join this group!
Looks like an active community of great readers, reviewers and authors.

I myself am trying to find my voice, I write from a man's point of view --not much romance goin' on, don't know if that comes across very well here or not.

I would appreciate it a ton if you would look at my stuff and let me know what you think.

I have ready every book she wrote with the exception of her comics and Jason although I have Jason on hold for books just waiting trying to be patient.... I'm here to get some suggestions for new books and up coming authors. I'll admit it took me two tries to read fifty shades but once I did I asked myself why it took two tries!!! I love the book and have been looking for similar books ever since.. Fifty shades opened my taste to a whole new genre that I LOVE

What a cool site!
Hi everyone. I’m Mary Jane Cabot, age 25, and I’m located in San Francisco or LA, depending where my job takes me. I spend a lot of time on airplanes and to pass the hours I read, and read, and read – mostly adult or smut fiction (I always wonder if the guy in the seat next to me knows what I’m really reading or has a clue why my cheeks turn red). The last thing I read was “Moan for Big Foot,” by Virginia Wade; fun, silly & also a thrill. Next in line is “A Different Kind of Cosplay” by Lucy Felthouse (favorite), which I think is due out this week. In addition to writing PR & marketing fluff stuff for my job, and just for fun, I also love to write my own edgy erotic fiction.

message 76: by L.A.A. (new)

L.A.A. Law | 6 comments Hi Beth:
I read both Fifty Shades and the Crossfire books and loved them. Sylvain Reynard's Gabriel's Inferno trilogy is a great series to follow next. I couldn't put them down. Also, if you would like, I would love for you to check out my book, I could even send you a coupon to get it free if you can download from smashwords and can email directly a request to SanctuaryBook@outlook.com. My book started out as a fan fiction to the 50 shades and crossfire series, but I couldn't figure out how and where to post, so it morphed. Here is a short synopsis, if you are interested:
Come enter into the world where one night of reckless abandon plunges Ann into a world of deception, intrigue, murder, and revenge where nothing is as it seems, and she becomes the red flag in a tug-o-war between powerful businessmen who will dominate her, protect her, or strip her bare in order to unlock secrets from her past of which even she is unaware.
While attending the charitable event which she spearheaded with her stepfather last year in hopes of grounding herself after his death, Ann is knocked off her feet by billionaire businessman, Stephan Greystone. His steel eyes flare with fiery desire as they lock with her gray inflaming her core and igniting an insatiable hunger for a man she can never have. As a stunning woman places her fingertips on Stephan’s forearm, his eyes cool causing waves of self-doubt and insecurity to crash over Ann, prompting her to flee.
Just once, she wishes she could be a confident, sexual siren like her best friend, Alice, who arouses passion in every man caught in her sights. As Alice slips into the seat next to Ann smelling of sex and her latest conquest’s cologne, she begs Ann to experiment and enter into games of erotic seduction planned for later in the evening involving some of the guests. With that one word and a nod of her head indicating that Stephan will be one such entrant, Ann is consumed by an inexplicable need to try and win Stephan and engage in one night of unrestrained passion.
Never did she expect that her hopes of catching an impossible dream would lead her into the arms of a man who derives pleasure from inflicting pain and spurn her descent into a world of duplicity and vengeance where no one is as they appear and uncovering their ulterior motives lead her deeper into their deadly game . Waking in the woods, she soon learns that Alice is dead and that the only people surrounding her are those with an agenda to unlock information from her past that even she does not know she has or strip away all that she has known.

The Glimpse

Hi there. I'm an Australian author, currently published by St Martin's Press in the US, Random House in Australia and a few other countries. I have a book you might be interested in reading: The Glimpse. I just put it up on Kindle for 99c. http://www.amazon.com/The-Glimpse-Jes...
Some reviews below to give you an idea of the content:
"An excellent writer and storyteller... compelling reading. Fink's honesty is admirable, his story bittersweet and his experiences will make the reader squirm."
- Daily Telegraph
"Like Penthouse Letters with post-orgasmic guilt... one man's journey into the 'gratification now' of the internet while slowly accepting his complicity in his divorce, before his sanity is salvaged by the unconditional love of his daughter. An engrossing read."
- Herald Sun
"An insightful exploration of male sexuality. Fink's torrid tale invites readers to consider the ways in which our consumer-driven society, focused on social media, has changed human sexual endeavours and relationships. His deeply honest and authentic narrative allows us to journey with him, through the bedrooms of beautiful women around the world, as he struggles to find peace and comfort through intimacy. THE GLIMPSE is an extraordinary depiction of how sex, even too much sex, can be a normal and healthy part of coping and grief in the life of a man."
- Dr David Ley, PhD, author, The Myth of Sex Addiction
"X-rated, honest and compelling, this is a must-read."
- Men's Health
"A great book."
- Penthouse
"Harrowing... [it has] an authenticity sorely lacking in similar works."
- Sydney Morning Herald
Cheers, Jesse

I just want to introduce myself. I am a big fan of a good old fashioned romp with a good backstory and heathy doses of sex that doesn't sound forced.
So I tend to find myself on Smashwords and Barnes and Noble looking for a good book rather than Amazon because the Indie can go further than a main stream publisher. Looking forward to sharing my finds on here. Regards Tom

J.R. James | 17 comments Hi all, but especially to Beth and Kores above. Like Charlotte, I started writing erotic romance after reading Fifty Shades, because I was missing Christian and Ana so much, I needed something to replace them.
My 'Love by Design - Taken' trilogy, also brought together as one book 'Love by Design - Taken Altogether', are all available for Kindle at Amazon, and are also available for Kindle Unlimited. You might like Nick and Ellie's story. I have enjoyed writing it.
I hope you don't mind me jumping in here with a mention for my own books, but if I don't, how will you ever know?
If you'd like to check them out, the following link will take you to my Amazon author page:

So that it's not all about me, I also read and enjoyed the 'Knight' series, by Kitty French, which you may like.
Oh, and I notice that there is another J.R. above, which is confusing! No relation!
Hope you find a good book to become lost in, whether it's mine or someone else's. For my part, I will be checking out Charlotte's book.

J-T Grace | 1 comments Hello, I'm J-T.

It's a nom de plume. I don't wish to reveal my true identity because my profession is BDSM, where discretion is paramount to my clients.

I've been writing for many years, mostly non-fiction, but became so concerned by common misconceptions from 'popular' literature that I felt the urge to write a series of novels based around real characters, events and scenarios in my world, infusing information within entertainment.

My goal is to highlight the pleasures and warn of the pitfalls, to help better understanding and avoid the emotional, psychological and physical hurt I come across on a depressingly regular basis.

I don't really know yet if I'm any good at fiction.

J-T Grace.
