"Or a simple charm." Suggested sage pulling out her wand. She examines it for a millisecond before saying an incantation. Sage's brown curly hair grew out twice its length and slowly turned into a bright golden blonde. She said another incantation and it turned board-straight. Sage's hair was now, practically, the complete opposite than it had been.

Alexa's face broke out into a bright smile. "Blonde suits you!" she told Sage sweetly. "I was blonde for a few weeks. It didn't suit me," she laughed happily as she finally took a seat, crossing her skinny legs and tucking her feet under her thighs.
Lori smiled. "Sorry, I'm used to doing it the muggle way. I couldn't exactly just charm my skin green, they'd freak out." She smiled, "And blonde does suit you." She bounced one leg and tapped her fingers on her leg. "When's the train going to leave?" She asked absent-mindedly.
Sage smiled at the enthusiastic Ravenclaw, and the Slytheryn. "Thanks guys." She didn't like her hair blonde that much. She loved her darker color. She said the reverse spell and her hair became curly and chocolate colored brown. "I hope it leaves soon..." Said Sage addressing Lori's comment. She wanted to hurry up and get to Hogwarts!
"Also, the muggle way is so much fun!" Alexa chimed in with her reply. She absolutely loved visiting salons with her mother or getting her nails done at a muggle mall but more often then not, her mom made her use a charm at home. Which was fun too, she thought with an inward shrug. Leaning back, Alexa pulled her phone out of her skinny jeans pocket to check the time. "10:09," she read out loud. "Fifty-one more minutes," she added with a sigh.
"Yeah, the muggle way isn't half bad." Lori agreed. She had actually really enjoyed using the cords and harnesses to make a broom fly onstage instead of actually flying like a wizard rendition of the play would. And a wizard version would have had real magic in place of the special effects. "That's so long..." Lori groaned.
Sage shrugged. She had done the muggle way for so long, it was now to be able to just say a couple words. "I wish time would speed up." Said Sage leaning back in her set with a huff. She couldn't take anxiously waiting for the train to move. "Anyone want to play exploding snap or wizards chess?" She asked the group, trying to find something to do.
"I'd love to play!" Alexa replied enthusiastically. "Oooh, I can't decide which game I'd prefer. Although chess is only a two player game," she pointed out then, not wanting to exclude anybody.
"We could go with I face winner." Lori suggested, "Although exploding snap is great too." She much preferred chess, much preferred the strategy of it to the other game. It was also fun to simply command the pieces- chess was one thing she preferred to be done the wizarding way.
"I think we should play exploding snap. That way both of you get to lose to me at the same time." Laughed out Sage. She hadn't meant it in a proud way , she was very competitive though. Her father was very good at Exploding Snap and had taught her a few tricks. Sage dug in one of her bags. She pulled out the pieces required for exploding snap and places them on the table.
"Like either of you are going to win," Lori waved a hand. "I am obviously the superior one here." She said, not serious, of course. She wasn't self-centred, at least not that badly.
"Age doesn't mean skill." Quoted sage. Her mother always said that to Sage's father. Her father was almost three year older, but her mother was defiantly more skilled, though her father wouldn't admit it. Sage picked up the prices and stood. "Want to lose outside or in the hallway?" Asked Sage with a laugh.
Alexa shrugged. "Whichever one is fine by me. Although if we play in the hall, we'll only be in other people's way," she pointed out, picking up a lock of her multicolored hair to inspect its ends.
"It's the prefect car. Nobody's walking around." Lori pointed out, "And I wasn't speaking of age, just skill in general." She added in response to Sage's comment.
"I think I agree with Alexa. We have time, let's just go outside?" Asked sage. She hated being in people's way just as much as people hated her being in their way. "Oh really? We can see how much skill you have once we start." She countered with friendly competitiveness.
"There are other Prefects," Alexa laughed as she bounced onto her feet. Glancing over at Hooty, who still had not moved, she noticed that he was now sleeping. "But if you think we won't be in the way, we can use the corridor."
"Corridor. Definitely corridor." Lori said, she dreaded stepping back out onto the platform into the chaos and noise. No, she would much rather stay right in the carriage, where nobody was insane, or yelling. She looked over at Nutella, who was in the little shelter at the back of her cage.
"Alrighty then! Corridor it is." Exclaimed sage with a shrug. She waited for Lori to remove herself from her seat so Sage could get through. She twirled the balls on her hand, patiently waiting. She could hear the sound of other Prefects in a different compartment, she really hoped that he wasn't annoying them. Sage really needed to work on lowering her voice.
"Then let's go!" Alexa replied with a nod of her head as she pulled on the door of their compartment to step out into the hall.[Exit Alexa Wong to Carriage 1 Corridor.]
Lori put Nutella's cage in a more secure position on the table before following Alexa out of the room. She brought with her only her wand and some money, Sage had all the game supplies.[Exit Lori Lazar to Carriage 1 Corridor]
Sage walked, last, out of the room. she held in her hands all the gaming pieces.
[Exit Sage Roberts to Carriage 1 Corridor.]
[Exit Sage Roberts to Carriage 1 Corridor.]
[Enter Sage Roberts from Carriage 1 Corridor]
Sage shut the door behind her since she was the last one in. The train had picked up speed, Sage smiled- they were on their way.

[Enter Alexa Wong from Carriage 1 Corridor, message 47.]"Man, I'm so psyched about going back to school!" Alexa piped as she practically hopped into the compartment, her rainbow colored hair bouncing with her movements. "There's always so much to do!" she chirped.
[Enter Bradley Xardel from Carriage 1 Corridor, message 46.]"This year especially," groaned Bradley, throwing his hand up to his forehead in mock-despair. "Really though," he said, sitting up, "I have my N.E.W.T.s."
[Exit Bradley Xardel to Hogsmeade Platform, message 4.]
[Enter Lori Lazar from Carriage 1 Corridor, message 48.]"Ah, the Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests." Lori sighed, "I have them as well. Bit of a cruel name, don't you think?"
