[Ayden August, Evander August, and Jinx August from Platform 9¾, message 6.]The twins, with their strawberry-blonde head full of curls, charged down the corridor of the train's third carriage, peeking into compartments and apologizing to people they interrupted, practically bouncing of the walls as they ran to the end of the carriage and then back to Evander and then off again.
As they returned for the third time, the bundles of energy satisfied themselves with orbiting Evander, rather than running off again to explore. "Where are you going to sit, Evander?" Ayden queried, his bright blue eyes filled with earnest questioning as he looked up at his older brother.
"Are we sitting with you? Do you think we'll get sorted into the same House as you?" These questions came from Jinx, who was in the process of cartwheeling down the corridor.
Evander mused how amazing it amazing it was she could do that; run around vigorously and spin her body in circles and still be able to speak. The eager questions of his siblings brought a smile to his face, even as the corners of his mouth pulled down into a frown.
"No, I don't think you'll get Sorted into Ravenclaw," he told them, feeling more and more patient the further he got from his parents. Still, if he had to spend the whole train ride with the twins, what little patience he had would soon evaporate. "Why don't you sit... here!" he said, sliding the door of an empty apartment open. "Maybe you'll make some new friends as the train fills up."
Before he could even finish speaking, the twins had darted past him and were quickly bouncing up and down on the seat cushions. "Feet off the seats!" the Ravenclaw sharply reprimanded, relieved that none of his friends were nearby to see this. The twins sighed and rolled their eyes, but sat anyways, contenting themselves with bouncing up and down on their buttocks instead. "I'm going to go look for some of my friends," Evander continued, "If I don't see you when the train stops, I'll for sure see you at the castle." The twins barely acknowledged his words, and Evander turned and left with a hefty sigh of relief.

[Enter Juniper and Dillon Frueuff]"C'mon, Dillon, this compartment seems to be empty." Juniper Frueuff, the eldest of the two said, nodding to Compartment A. She gave her chest another tug and then turned to look at her brother. Juniper thought it was horribly unfair that her brother was the one who got all the height, and she was just short. Dillon came up beside his sister, simply carrying his trunk with ease and smiled at his sister. "Ready for another year." He beamed, heading toward the compartment Juniper had referred to. Juniper could only nod and grin as she pushed her trunk in after her brother.

[Enter Robin Dove from Platform 9 and 3/4, message 23]Robin carried her things down to the end of the corridor, searching for an empty compartment in which she might put her luggage and sit for a while before seeing a familiar face. She wasn't disappointed; nearly all of the compartments in this part of the train appeared to be completely vacant. Taking a moment to slide open the clear door, she headed into the nearest: Compartment H.

September 1st: The train has arrived at Hogsmeade Station and all students have unloaded onto the platform, dressed in their robes.
