Russell sighed as she left watching every move she made. as the day continued on he touchy the same lesson over and over. at the end of the day he took his time leaving. he wanted to shift when he got home.

Once the day was over Alena gathered everything she needed and then left. She just anted to clear her head. So when she got home instead of going inside she just went on a walk, going back to that same clearing in the woods she was in before.
Russell shifted as soon as he got home running through the woods wanting to lay in the clearing he had seen her at. just being near her home felt like a comfort to him.
Alena laid in the same spot as before and just looked up at the sky. As she looked up her troubles just seemed to drift away.
Russell almost turned around and left her alone when he smelled her scent but he kept running on, slowing to a stop in the middle of the clearing, taking a few hesitant steps towards her with a friendly barking sound
Alena jumped slightly at the sound of the bark. She smiled over at the wolf. She was suddenly so at peace, almost like a hippie but not high, that she just pat the spot next to her, gesturing for him to come.
Russell sat down where she had patted as if he were trained. his fur was black.as the night and his eyes were Russell's eyes exactly.
"Hi" Alena said with a smile and looked back up at the sky. She gently placed her hand on the wolf and began to slowly pet him. "Hey, you're not going to eat me are you" she suddenly asked, looking at him skeptically.
Russell pressed into her touch. it felt so good he wanted more. he rolled into his back and looked at her from his upside down angle tilting his head
Alena smiled at him and continued to pet him. He was so cute she thought.
Russell suddenly stood upright a menacing snarl escaping him, his hairs on end. he sensed another wolf near-by and coming in their direction quickly
Alena jumped and backed away from the wolf, suddenly very afraid. "Well, I think I'll just be going now" she said and stood up to leave.
The other wolf entered the clearing seconds after she started backing away. Russell let out a low growl at the other wolf in warning taking a defensive position in front of her
Alena just nodded "Yeah, I'll just be going" she said and backed out of the clearing. After a ew more steps she turned around and ran.
the other wolf started to Chase after her but Russell cut him off by running straight into him, knocking him over. Russell then attacked the wolfs neck as if his life depended on it. then a howl of pain escaped his muzzle as the other wolf clamped down on his leg, the teeth easily piercing his skin.
Alena ran as fast as she could back to the road. She had heard one of the wolves howl, which just made her run faster. When she got to the road she stopped for a second to catch her breath.
Russell eventually beat up the other wolf enough for it to retreat. his right back leg hurt very badly, he didn't even let it touch the ground. he smelled the air trying to sense if she was okay
Once Alena's breathing was back to normal she ran the rest of the way to her house She went straight up to her room and sat on her bed trying to figure out what just happened. She knew what happened buher mind was to jumbled to think it all the way out at the moment.
Russell pulled back to his house and shifted black to human form gasping in pain naked. he cursed under his breath, the wound reopened due to his shift and he hopped on one leg into his house blood sliding down his leg. the other wolf had really bit down hard. he kept his teeth clinched together as he grabbed the first aid kit and started to patch himself up
Alena wondered what happened to the wolf, the nice one that is. She hoped that he or she won the fight. She really didn't know him her what ever gender out was she wasn't sure. Though she is pretty sure that it's a boy for some reason.
Russell sighed knowing his leg was going to take forever to heal in his human form but he really didn't feel like going back out. he wrapped it in gauze, applying pressure to it and fell asleep like this
Alena laid back on her bed tried and in need of sleep. So she got up and got on her pajamas before climbing into bed and going to sleep.
Russell showed up at school I'm time the next day with a limp sitting down as soon as he reached his desk. he waited for students to start filing in
Alena woke up and got dressed in her usual type of outfit with her usual boots. Once dressed her did her hair and make up and then she went down stairs. She grabbed an apple and headed out the door. She drove to school and did her usual thing. She went straight to her locker then to her first class. Though like the day before she avoided looking at Mr. Simmons and left the class room as soon as possible.
Russell was glad when the school day was over wondering why Alena was acting the way she was. He couldn't wait to shift and go to the clearing, hoping that she would be there
Alena just couldn't look at Mr. Simmons right now. It felt weird being around him, because she couldn't help but have feeling for him. As she thought about she decided to maybe transfer out of his class. Either way she wouldn't have to deal with it tomorrow. Needing to clear her head she decided to go back to the clearing. Though she wasn't sure she should, because of what happened the other day.
Russell was already at the clearing sitting there and waiting for her to show. he listed to the wildlife teaming In the woods as he awaited her arrival
Alena went to the clearing, she saw the wolf sitting there and smiled small glad that he was okay. "Hi there" she said with a kind voice.
Russell stood and limped over to her pressing his nose against her hand "hello" he said to her telepathically not able to resist any longer
Alena jumped and looked around "Whose there" she said a bit frantically as she looked around.
"its me" he said and took a step back tilting his head slightly as he looked at her
"Who" Alena said still not looking at the wolf. She couldn't even begin to wrap her mind around the fact that a wolf may be talking to her.
Russell nudged her hand again with his nose "Down here silly"
Alena looked down at the wolf "No!" she said sternly. "This is not happening" she said and turned around to walk away. As she walked through the forest, back the way she came she mumbled to herself in Russian, about how this wasn't happening and how she was crazy.
Russell whimpered a little as she began to walk away and followed her. he then nipped at her pants catching a little bit.of the fabric in her mouth and pulled back to prevent her from going further "Please stay"
"Oh my god I'm going crazy" Alena said as she looked down at the wolf, her Russian accent very strong at the moment so some of the words sounded weird.
"you aren't crazy" he told her not letting go of her jeans
"Yeah, that's real reassuring coming from a talking wolf" Alena said.
"hmm could be a talking bunny rabbit" he commented and let her go wagging his tail a little as she replied
"Not helping" Alena said.
"Well I'm desperately sorry for complicating your world with a talking wolf" he said and sat down once again in front of her
Alena sighed in frustration and turned around to leave.
"please don't....." Russell said softly with a whine
"I just can't handle this right now" Alena said and ran the rest of the way out of the forest.
Russell sighed to himself in a defeated way. what was he going to do? after a few minutes he walked to the edge of the woods to watch her house
Alena ran back home and went straight up to her room. She wanted to finish her story anyway.
Russell eventually moved out of the bushes so he could lay down in the soft grass of her yard. soon enough he fell asleep threw about an hour later Alena's mother spotted him in the yard amazed by the fact that a wild animal came so close to society. "Alena,Alena! come quick! she yelled up the stairs in Russian wanting her daughter to see this strange sight
Alena ran down stairs and said "What" in Russian. Then she saw the wolf in the yard. She sighed knowing that it had followed her. "Hey" she yelled still speaking in Russian as she walked over to the wolf. She mom yelled for her to stop, but she just ignored her. "Hey go shoo" she said in Russian and some other profanity.
Russell groaned in a wolfy sleepy way and slowly backed back up into the woods his ears twitching a little. whatever she was saying didn't sound nice
Once he was gone she sighed frustratedly and went back inside.
