(╯`▭´)╯︵ ǝɔnɒꓷ Christi rolled her eyes at Andrew's usual nagging, barely waiting for him to put his seatbelt on before throwing the car in drive and peeling away from the school like a crazy bat from hell. "I do. That's what honking the horn is for. Duh." Christi replied with a voice dripping with sarcasm, ignoring the angry shouts people tossed her way as she cut several people off on her way out of the parking lot. She sighed heavily, glancing over at Andrew in irritation. "I keep throwing up and it's all your fault." she whined, changing lanes without turning on her signal, causing several angry drivers to blare their horns at her.
Which she ignored.

Driving with Christi was probably on my list of top 5 things that I hated to do. Why? Cause she drove like a f*cking drunk person! As I always did whenever I got into the car with her, I leaned back in the car and held onto the sides of the seat, sending apologetic glances to anyone that happened to honk at us or look at us.
"Don't blame me, blame it on stupidity and alcohol," I replied, looking over at her, then down at her belly. It really was getting much larger.

(╯`▭´)╯︵ ǝɔnɒꓷ Christi glanced over at him, pulling her face back into an unpleasant grimace. "Right. I guess I should thank you for making me forever sober." she commented drily, letting out a soft snort as she cut another car off. "As for stupidity, I haven't really shaken you yet, so I guess we all have things we need to work on." She felt eyes on her and glanced over, giving Andrew a scowl. "Stop staring. It makes me feel even fatter." she sniffed indignantly, turning back to the road and making a final turn. The doctor's office wasn't too far from the school, fortunately for every moving object on the road, so she slid into the parking lot and parked haphazardly by the front door, killing the engine and crawling out stiffly. "Aw, damn. I hate this big belly." she grumbled, rubbing at it in annoyance as she waddled towards the front of the building, not even bothering to see if Andrew was following.

"Yeah, you're welcome," I grumbled in response to her alcohol comment. Remaining silent for the rest of the short ride, I continued to hold tightly onto the seat, feeling as if we would crash at any given moment. Hell, we probably would, seeing how Christi was driving. As soon as the car was parked, I got out as quick as I possibly could, following her into the doctors office."How does a pregnant girl waddle so fast?" In an attempt to help, I opened the door for her, then put my hand on her lower back as we walked into the building. As strange as it was, Christi had grown on me these past months. I know, I know. Disgusting isn't it? But she was like...an annoying little sister that you still loved anyways because, well, you were stuck with her. Sort of anyways.

(╯`▭´)╯︵ ǝɔnɒꓷ Christi rolled her eyes at Andrew's comment, snorting as she slipped into the building without even telling him thank you. "Because I've had a lot of practice." she snipped, sauntering into the hospital as if she owned the place. She felt the hand against the small of her back and frowned disapprovingly, though she said nothing about it. Andrew always did stuff like this, so Christi decided to just let him do what he wanted. Admittedly, sometimes she did like the attention he gave her. What good wouldn't?
She quickly checked in at the front desk, complained about waiting in the five minutes they waited, then followed the nurse as she led her and Andrew into the room she would get her ultrasound in.

I said nothing to Christi's reply, waiting as we got check in at the front desk and then apologizing to the person there when Christi complained. She couldn't not complain for more then a few seconds could she? I, however, simply sat down on a chair and waited patiently, my arm finding it's way around Christi's shoulder as we did so. She never complained about me touching her though and neither of us ever said anything about it. When we were called up, I hand returned to her back as a way of trying to help her.

(╯`▭´)╯︵ ǝɔnɒꓷ The doctor directed Christi told her to lie on the chair she stretched out for her, and Christi did as she was told, surprisingly wordless for once. Mostly because she was terrified of what the verdict would be. The doctor lifted Christi's shirt up to expose her plump belly, then squirted some of that weird gel stuff onto her stomach, apologizing when Christi hissed at how cold it was. The doctor then placed the ultrasound tool on her stomach, moving it around the gel as she watched the screen next to her flare to life. Christi swallowed hard, focusing on the screen. "Okay." the doctor said cheerfully, watching the screen carefully. "There's a head, and a foot, and another hand, another hand, there's the other head-" "Whoa, whoa, whoa." Christi interrupted, startling the doctor. "What do you mean, other head? It has two heads?" The doctor smiled at her patiently before shaking her head. "No. I mean there's one head for one baby, and another head for the other." she explained to the shocked Christi. "Congratulations. You're having twins."

As Christi laid down on the table, I remained standing next to the bed, chewing on my bottom lip in a nervous matter. Once she was settled, I took her hand and watched as the doctor began to preform the ultrasound. It was so strange, how they were able to see a baby from that weird gel and that machine. I watched the screen as the baby began to show up, furrowing my eyebrows. It almost looked like...two. But...maybe I was wrong. However, when the doctor confirmed it, I felt my heart stop in my chest. There were...two? There were two?! One was enough!
"Wait wait wait, a-are you sure?" I asked, not being able to stop my voice from stuttering. I couldn't, however, take my eyes away from the screen to stare at the baby. Well, babies according to the doctor.

(╯`▭´)╯︵ ǝɔnɒꓷ The doctor, Dr. Blu, looked startled at Andrew's outburst, furrowing her brow in slight confusion before nodding. "Yes, I'm positive." she confirmed, moving the tool around Christi's stomach, who still stayed oddly quiet. "There's the two heads, two sets of arms and legs, and...Oh. It looks like one is a girl, and one is a boy." she explained, pointing on the matter the two different genders of the babies. "But they both look and sound very healthy, so you should have no worries." "No worries?" Christi finally croaked out, sounding incredulous. "No worries? I'm not even done with my Junior year yet and I'm already pregnant. With twins. I barely knew how to handle one baby. How am I supposed to handle two?" Dr. Blu looked sympathetic, patting her hand lightly on Christi's arm. "Don't worry. I was scared of being pregnant at first as well." she explained calmly with a reassuring smile. "But you slip into the role of being a mother, don't worry. You'll be fine." Christi looked unconvinced, sitting up stiffly as she glanced over at Andrew, looking angry and scared all at once. "I'm done here. Can we please go now?" she asked, a slight tremble to her voice. She wasn't ready to be a mother. She wasn't ready.
