I really liked that book, surprisingly :)
I don't think I've come across a book that I've absolutely hated. Probably the one I didn't like the most was Mockingjay, I'm sorry to say.

Really dislike Dan Brown's books, Twilight series and Philip Pulllman's Dark Chronicles.
Thankfully we are all different.

you know they burn people at the stake in England for saying that????????
I hated the final hunger games book, was that mockingjay? or girl with mockingjay tattoo on fire kicking a nest of jays? I dont get how she wins not one but two hunger games, and then turns into a pile of mushy mess, gale or peta gale or peta, ohhhhhh i cant do anything.
And how can anybody hate battlefield earth? That was like my favorite childhood book for a while, granted Lron was a nut, or at least the people he left behind were.
I hate, uhhhh infinite jest by wallace, I hate even though I have only read snippets or over my girlfriends shoulder both twilight and 50 shades!!!!!
I hate it when you go to the store and get everything you need but the one most important item you forgot, especially if that was the one thing you really needed to make something either food or furniture or fixup, hate hate hate, if you have hate in your heart let it out.

Nobody, your name changed! What's the song?

almost every gal I have asked says peta, I have not found a single gal that picks gale, which just shows me why men cant get women ^generally^ it goes back to the old rick V victor laslow, and only the elder of the group or old souls will know what thats about anyway
most guys will say gale duhhhhhhh, which by the way is the correct choice:)

Not a love triangle fan.
Katniss and Gale are so very angry, I think they'd destroy eachother.
I know several guys who've read this.

I think the love triangle thing is what makes a lot of soso books/tv/movies appeal to folks????
Ugh, I hated Mockingjay so much! Oh an Steve I was hoping for Gale too. Dreams crushed XD
Love triangles are always so obvious. I'm not the biggest fan of them either.

Does the person in the middle have to be unable to make a choice between the other people?
Because I hear people talking about books having love triangles, when it's clear the person in the middle is only interested in one of the options, and doesn't even consider the other person in the supposed triangle.
Does that make sense?
Yes!! It does!! That's why I hate love Triangles because it's always so obvious who the main character is going to end up with.
I think the only love triangle I liked was the Trylle series one. Which was actually surprising.

Oh, what do I think makes a love triangle? I think its a main character that has some sort of relationship with two others. Whether its friendship, romantic relationship etc. Even though the main character may not like one of them, that character may like the main character. And stuff like that, if that even made sense XD
Ikr its one of the reasons I like those books so much.

Haha :) I read them a while ago, so I don't remember them perfectly. I remember though, that I did like them, but for some reason I didn't get invested in the series.
I read them a few months back because my friend kept recommending them and they were ALWAYS at the library. It wasn't really my favorite. I just think the use of twists throughout it was really nice and helped make it a lot more interesting :)

Hmm...I don't really know. I had no problem reading it, and I read it in one sitting...but when I finished I just slammed it down and said "I hated it"

fab cat hit the nail on the head, its obviously 3 folks, and someone mentioned "well the person in the middle always really prefers one of them" alas that isnt necessarily true, but if I concede that that is true, its not always a question of what one prefers
sometimes, or really most of the time, the triangle is not so much a choice between which person do I love more, but a choice of right and wrong, sin V ethics
take graham greenes end of the affair, you have a girl who fell in love, well actually it was more a setup and social caste type arrangement, but the husband is a great man who does his duty and is a great hubby in every way-----other than in the bedroom/passion area--- then one day a guy comes along and she thinks she found her true soulmate/lover/whateveryou wanna callhim the man who tips her scales, flips her lid
now you have your classic love tri throw in a scene where she thinks hes dead and prays to god that he will be ok, and he is but she promised to god that if he lived she would stop cheating/sinning and now you really have the big decision of who should she choose, anyyyyyyywood thats a classical love triangle, and the correct answer again is Rick and Gale :)

Wake by Lisa McMann was bad. Really Bad.
