Variations on author name

I have books in Goodreads with author "Shaun J McLaughlin" and "Shaun J. McLaughlin"; so not all books I authored appear together. I have written two books on the Patriot War and they need the period added after J to get all spellings exact. Can I do that myself?

No; only Goodreads staff members can merge authors when one of the profiles is a claimed one.
