If Beatrice chooses a different faction than where her family lives, does that mean she will never see them again?

I don't think so. I think it means she doesn't live with them anymore and therefore doesn't spend as much time with them.

The man on the street grabbing her hand and telling her to choose wisely was creepy. Maybe it's foreshadowing something that will happen later.
