I really like them they add jokes to places that are normally cold and edgy
I like the side comments, there funny and show a lot of funny Sadie and Carter sibling bickering.

I like them and they really added to a book that otherwise would have been horrible.

I like them, because although the book is already very interesting the side comments adds some fun and silliness into it. I love them!
I love the side comments. It makes the story more relatable and amusing to read at the same time.
the comments show the kids age and make the book more realistic because real kids at Carter and Sadie's age would probably do the same thing if they were making a recording of their adventures.
Those are hilarious! If I was really recording my story, I can't even imagine what kinds of noises and things would be in the background. Screaming... Crashing... "STUPID DORA THE BANANA TREE IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU WHY DO YOU EVEN WATCH THIS STUFF, LITTLE GUY?"

I think that they're funny, and during the serious parts, it puts a little extra in there :)

I really loved the side comments in fact. I think it helps you to understand more how the characters were feeling or what were they thinking in that moment. Also I think it helps you to know Carter and Sadie´s personalities. They are really funny!

I really like them. They make the story seem more real, and it shows us a different angle to the relationship between Carter and Sadie.
I loved them! Firstly, some of the things they said were hilarious! I can just see Sadie punching Carter as he mentions the whole Anubis or Walt problem, or Sadie telling Carter to stop shaking his head at something ridiculous she'd said. Also, I think that it adds to the whole 'recorded on tape' feeling. Who on earth said it was annoying?!

I adore the side comments. They make Sadie and Carter seem more real than just some fictional characters. As someone with siblings I can relate to the bickering and I love it when I can relate to the characters so much. They're also so hilarious. How much they add to the development of Carter and Sadie's relationship as brother and sister from hatred to a very strong bond is incredible in my opinion and I love reading about how much they've grown together. I'm probably rambling by now and this is way longer than I intended it to be. So yeah.
Sometimes they may be annoying but mostly they are the things that add the much needed favour to the narration and also much to convey both their feelings on a subject even when only one of them is narrating.
I think it's hilarious. The side comments make it sound like a real recording. I read tons of books like this and the side comment make me literally laugh out loud.
