K.L. Phelps (kl_phelps) | 13 comments I noticed the one thread where an author requested opinions/advice on the blurb/description, but when I did a search I haven't been able to find any other such threads.

Is this something that is frowned upon or perhaps I am simply a bit clueless on how to search the site. (which is completely believable with my tech knowledge)

I ask because I have several books I am getting ready to pop up on Amazon, but would love feedback from other writers/readers. I have of course asked friends but I'd prefer people who were impartial, but I don't want to step on any toes or offend users. Since I only have managed to find the one thread on the subject, I wondered if it was frowned upon or taboo.

Michael Long (mplong) I don't know about threads but I know I have been asked by a few or helped them in private message. So it is not unheard of for authors to ask feedback about blurbs...especially from beta readers or ARC readers.
