((Haha, yes there are XD))Once they reached the bottom of the stairs Jev pushed the door open and walked out. He held onto King in a way that wouldn't be too obvious that he was helping him walk. Didn't want to make anyone suspcious.
Alyssa held onto King's arm that made it look like she was just holding his hand but she was helping him walk as well.
They managed to get out of the hospital without any questions or suspcious looks. "Thank God thats over," he said once they wee several blocks away from the hospital.
"Exactly." Alyssa sighed with relief, looking around as they walked.
"We need to find Shiloh," Jev said, looking straight a head as he walked down an alley with King on his arm. "Im sure she'd have gone back to where we were when she left, so once we find a place to stay I'll go back to look." he instructed, always planning a head like he'd been taught to at the School.
"Okay, and I will stay with King." She explained sweetly.
Jev nodded, scanning the area before stepping out of the alley way. "Alright. Lets find a place to stay first, then I'll look for Shiloh."((I love how Jev is all Military serious type when he's thinking and Alyssa is all happy bubbly XD))
Alyssa nodded and she immediately began to look for a place. She spotted a hotel. "Ooh! There's a hotel! I wonder if it's safe. Maybe they have a buffet. I hope the beds are comfy. So don't know. They don't have to be, but it's better that way." She babbled.
((Haha, that's Alyssa for ya!))
((Haha, that's Alyssa for ya!))
Jev glanced over at Alyssa and grinned very faintly. "Lets check it out." he said, walking towards the hotel but staying in the shadows.
((AHH IN HERE!))King groaned as he walked. His body hurt and he was feeling tired. He coughed and put a hand to his stomach as he felt sick.
((Hey Izzy!))Jev noticed the way King clutched to his stomach. "Don't worry man, the doctors gave me some meds to give you when you wake up. I'll give 'em to you when we get to the hotel." he said.
((Hehe, hi Izzy! I'm Izzy! :P ))Ray stopped before entering the hotel to stare across the road, nearly letting out a growl of frustration. Why couldn't it be easy? Just for once? Seriously. She could see everything clearly right then, when she was in the real world and awake, but whenever she had a vision, it was always blurry. "Why me?" she muttered, not noticing the teens she'd seen earlier heading towards the hotel she was currently in front of.

King nodded and breathed heavily as he tried not to get sick. He groaned and kept his eyes closed.
"It's going to be okay." Alyssa whispered in his ear. She took control and carried King to the hotel. "We will get you better."
Maddy wrote: "((I'm off, night!))Shiloh smirked and nodded. "Good, keep up," she replied and turned, walking in the direction of the hospital. Had she found a new friend, nah, maybe a mutant who had potential ..."
Weston shrugged slightly, seeing no reason to give the seemingly stuck up--or just rigid--girl an answer. He knew that he could keep up without breaking a sweat; he knew everything. It wasn't hard.
Shiloh walked briskly to the hospital, or the direction that he had pointed. She was gone ten minutes and the flock winded up in the hospital. Go figure. When she walked into the hospital, she went straight to the front desk to talk to the lady.
Jev went up to the front desk and got them a room. This may be a small town, but they had a rather nice hotel. "Room one 'oh two," he said to Alyssa and King once he got back over to them. "You guys head in there," he said as he handed them the room card. "And I'll go look for Shiloh."((Iz! We should have Rae "bump into" Jev :3))
Alyssa nodded. "Aye aye captain!" She smiled and carried King to the room.
Once King walked into the room he groaned, using his echolocation to find the bed and laid down on one, closing his eyes and trying to fall asleep.
Alyssa sat in a chair next to the bed and she draped a blanket over King. "Tell me if you need anything." She whispered.
((Yes! Great idea, Sierra! :) ))Sighing irritably, Ray walked into the hotel after adjusting her shirt again so her feathers didn't stick out. She wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings, not focusing on anything much. After a few steps inside the building, she bumped into someone, only paying attention then. "Oh, I'm so-" She cut herself off as she looked up, recognizing the face she was staring at. "You're the guy from the street."
Jev's mind was too focused on finding Shiloh that he almost jumped when someone bumped into him "Oh sorry," he mumbled before he registered what she had said. Looking at the girl he relized she was the one who had pointed them to the hospital. "Sure am." he said quickly. Relizing that could come off as rude he quickly added, "Thanks for helping us out."
"Don't mention it," Ray replied, "I'm glad I could help." While speaking, she silently prayed, to..someone who was hopefully listening, that he hadn't noticed her feathers when they'd met earlier. He'd seemed like he'd been in a hurry, and she could understand that, but still. She frowned slightly at him as something occurred to her. "You got out of there quickly."
Alyssa's words about how she had sworn she'd seen feathers sticking out of this girls shirt suddenly came to mind. But surely she had been seeing things. "Um yeah, my friend was having an asthma attck and just needed an inhaler." he easily lied.
"Huh," was the first thing out of Ray's mouth, but she nodded. Pulling down the hem of her tank top to make sure none of her feathers were sticking out the bottom, hopefully discreetly, she told him, "Well, it's a good thing he got that inhaler."
"Yeah, thank God for inhalers." Jev said with a small smile and a slight laugh. "So, are you stalking me?" he asked jokingly, noticing the way she tugged at her tank top. She didn't look like she was going to turn into an eraser, so he decided to talk to her a moment longer.
Ray smirked slightly and shook her head "Not as far as I'm aware," she answered, truthfully. Though, he did seem to be showing up a lot. She considered telling him that she was looking for someone- Yes, she was that desperate -but decided against it. "But I have been staying at this hotel."
Jev nodded, as he attempted to read her mind. For some reason though it was rather hard, he could only get a sense that she was nervous about something. Usually it was only hard to read other mutant's minds. "Well thanks again," he said, starting to realize he should be looking for Shiloh. Jev wasn't some one to get sidetracked easily, but this girl seemed to have that affect on him.
((They're about to separate. Noooooooooo! :P ))"And, once again, don't mention," Ray responded, starting to grin. She put her thumbs in her pockets and stepped to the side so he could move past her. "I guess I'll see you around, since we're both, apparently, staying in the same hotel." Though, she didn't know how likely that was. If she couldn't find the other School escapees, then she was off to Texas. Hopefully, they're here, she silently reminded herself, not looking forward to it.
((Hehe, Im sure they'll meet again. Maybe Ray should follow him if she's suspcious of him :3))Once again Jev could only get pieces of her thoughts, something about finding someone or something. "Im sure we will," he said. Though I hope not, he thought, knowing how dangerous it was to keep running into someone. Since it usually ment that they were following or keeping tabs on him. With that he walked past her and out the automatic doors.
((I was thinking that once Ray gets with the flock the reason why he can't read her mind as well as everyone else's is because of her powers to see the future. What do ya think?))
((I like it. :D Hmm..now what to do with her. I'm probably putting her on the same floor as the flock, btw. XD ))
((Ray could follow Jev if you'd like :3))Jev strolled out of the hotel and walked quickly down the sidewalk. Now to find Shiloh so they could get out of this damn town and get to the School. Not that he was in a hurry to get to the School, well he kind of was, more like in a hurry to get out of here. The more people he talked to the more likely it was for him and the flock to be discovered.
Groaning, Shiloh left the hosiptal. As it turns out, she was too late, the flock had been here. Had. And she could tell it was them because she saw a doctor walking by, muttering to himself, glancing at his hand. With advanced hearing, she was able to make out "disappeared " and "hand". Oh, and some other things that sounded like things the flock would do. "Come on, lets search the streets," she said to Weston.
Alyssa eventually fell asleep in the chair as she was comforting King.
Once Jev was sure he had enough cover he spread his wings and quickly took off. Flying may be riskier but it was a hell of a lot faster then walking. With his sense of direction, he was quickly able to locate the direction they had entered the town from and fly off towards it.
Shiloh scanned the streets with watchful eyes, the slightest movement caused her to snap her head in that direction. Each time she was disappointed to see it wasn't her flock. As she walked, hands in her pockets, she mumbled a stray of choice words under her breath, none of which were pleasant.
Jev landed at the spot he remembered to be the last place he'd seen Shiloh. Like he had guessed she wasn't there. Actually there were no signs of her having come back here. "Damn," he mumbled before sighing softly. Running a hand through his hand through his hair, he put his cheap avaitors back on and took off once more.
Shiloh wondered where they could have possibly disappeared off to. And without her? She knew she was a handful, but really? There weren't many places where they could have gone off to, not with King sick, with whatever he had
Jev flew high above the buildings and streets, scanning the grounds below for Shiloh. Where the hell could she have disapeard off to? Honestly he wondered what it was she had even left for in the first place.
Shiloh was beginning to question whether or not the flock had left without her, or if they were even looking for her. For once, she wasn't her cocky self, and wished they didn't leave her behind. Mentally, she kicked herself for thinking such weak thoughts. It was good if they left her, if they did she could give her undivided attention to her rebellion.
Jev flew lower to get a better view of a person he thought could be Shiloh, except there was someone else with her. Which threw him off greatly. Shiloh wasn't one to just go hang out with some random person. So if that was her, she muct have a good reason to be with whoever that was.
Though, despite trying to convince herself that being separated from the flock was a good thing, Shiloh was reminded why she had banded with them in the first place. How would you have a rebellion, a protest, without the bird kids live in the flesh. She knew that they could help her, eventually, and that they would want to. Shiloh was planing to take down the school after all.
Apon closer inspection it was Shiloh that Jev saw walking on the sidewalk below him. Angling his wings, he turned and flew behind a building to land. Once on the ground he pulled his wings in and adjusted his sunglasses before walking out of the alley to follow her. Of course he could always just read her mind, but he felt that would mean that he didn't trust her, and he did trust her. Therefore he wouldn't read her mind unless he felt it absolutely necessary.
Shiloh grumbled to herself. Maybe she should stop wasting her time trying to find the flock, she was an excellent tracker so she should have been able to find them by now. Glancing back at Weston, she decided to keep moving. "I don't think we are going to find them, if we were going to, we would have by now," she said, guessing either way he didn't really care. He had been pretty much silent this entire time. "I think our best bet right now is to leave the city."
