"T-T-The door," the doctor stuttered. "It's locked. But a moment ago when you came in it wasn't. How can this be?"

Jev shrugged, "Are you sure it's locked?" he asked, even though he knew it was. This was turning out to be a lot more fun then he thought it would be.
Weston arched an eyebrow, keeping his knowledge of her to himself. Though he wasn't the nicest figure, he wasn't going to scare her for no reason, even if she didn't strike him as the type to be scared too much. "Down the road," he answered, able to glean that even if he hadn't been there already.
Shiloh looked over to where he mentioned and nodded. "Alright, thanks," she said evenly. Finally someone who had answered her. Now that she had information she needed, she had to find the flock. If they weren't at the hospital, she didn't know what would happen. Well of course she would go to the school for them, she didn't want to, but she would. She turned on her heels and started to walk down the sidewalk.
Weston hesitated a moment before stating: "you're just like me." It was probably the wrong thing to do, but he had to try. Strength in numbers, right?
Shiloh stopped walking, frozen in her spot, muscles tensed. She was like him? Mutant? Or did he mean something different, she couldn't just assume. Her frozen state only pasted seconds before she spun around and faced him a smirk on her face. "Like you? What do you mean? Maybe in a hurry, then your correct," she stated curtly to cover her previous shock, sticking her hands in her pockets.
Weston shook his head, sighing softly. "Winged." He offered after a moment. "That's how you're like me."((Sorry, dealing with stuff right now. It's horribly short >_>))
((No problem Smiley))Shiloh frowned but quickly recovered with a laugh. Had she heard him right? Wings? Couldn't be, she would know another mutant when she saw one. When she had stopped laughing, she responded. "Winged? Are you assuming I'm some kind of angel? I know I'm pretty good looking, but I think you can come up with a better pick up line then that," she responded simply.
Weston rolled his eyes, not amused. "Look, you and I both know you're not a dits. You're a mutant. Wings. I can tell. Lying does no good."
((There's pictures of puppies on my profile if you wish to look :3 ))Shiloh shrugged, not sure she wanted to admit anything to him. Not until she was certain at least. "True, I'm not a dits, but I don't see why I would have wings. Do you have wings?" she said with a raised eyebrow and a grin, turning the questioning on him.

The doctor nodded, "Yes!" But he double checked, jiggling the knob a second time. He really was locked inside a room with a kid with wings and his friends who didn't believe him. Was he really sure the kid had had wings?
Weston rolled his eyes. "Don't be a jerk," he grumbled, though it was clear the word 'jerk' wasn't what he wanted to say. "I know everything. You've got wings."
((Aww, why Izzy? :/ ))Shiloh chuckled humorlessly. "Glad to see your modest," she remarked, rolling her eyes. "Know everything, right," she said sarcastically. "Let's go out on a limb here and say maybe I do have wings. What would your response be?"
Weston rolled his eyes, sighing boredly. "You do, and we both know it." He didn't answer her question, knowing how he'd respond. "There's more, you know. In the hospital."
((I had mail from yesterday to open, so I decided I might as well do it. I grabbed a dull knife to be my letter opener and went to open the envelope. Unfortunately, while I opened it, I also cut myself with the knife. It's a scratch, but it still stings. And the fact that I get very uneasy around knives doesn't help.))
((That sucks izzy. Today, I stubbed my pinkie toe on the bench in the kitchen really hard ON THE SAME FOOT THAT I HAVE THE SPRAINED ANKLE and I almost dropped the f-bomb in front of my dad. I'm so lucky that I quickly bit my lip otherwise I'd be grounded. Now I'm limping like crazy even more, I can't go to dance AGAIN and I have to work at conferences tomorrow and Tuesday. My foot is killing me and my sprained ankle is taking forever to heal. Not even my blue chocolate chip cookies that I made for the bake sale are helping. Kill me now!))
((Dang Iz, no more sharp objects for you!))Shiloh sighed, wondering why he was avoiding her question. But she was relieved that the other flock members were in the hospital. Well, she wasn't relieved that they were there, but that she knew where they were. "And how would you know this?" she questioned, not bothering denying it. Considering he knew that they were in the hospital--which she had a slight of--she had a bit of proof he knew what he was talking about.
((Yeah you can! Everyone calls me it! XD))
((Haha I was crying it hurts so bad. How am I supposed to do the ten minute walk to the bus stop in the morning and afternoon tomorrow? I can barely walk without wincing! My pinkie toe is super swollen and red.))
((Dangggg. Wow. HOLY CRAP SAM WHAT JUST HAPPENED OMFG MY BABY NO.))Weston answered after only a half instant of hesitation. "It's my power. To glean knowledge from anything and everything."
Shiloh frowned, having to admit to herself that she wasn't really expecting that. "So you are a bit of a know it all," she replied with a small shrug. Now that she knew that the flock was at the hospital, she needed to find out why.
"Again, glad your modest," Shiloh mumbled, mainly to herself. "Now that we have come to the conclusion that we are both mutants, what do you suppose we do? I have got to head out to the hospital, I was in a hurry for a reason, and you are more then welcome to come with. As long as your big head can fit through the door," she said impatiently with a casual shrug.
((I'm off, night!))Shiloh smirked and nodded. "Good, keep up," she replied and turned, walking in the direction of the hospital. Had she found a new friend, nah, maybe a mutant who had potential in accompanying them, but she had to first make sure that they could trust him. That he wasn't a spy. And she could pick put spies or allies of the school better then anyone, considering she had been one once
Sierra [Lets Be Alone Together] Levine wrote: "Jev only grinned, "Looks like you're stuck with us." he said with a shrug."This can't be happening, the doctor thought. First, the patient had appeared to have wings. Second, the kid had guessed what he was thinking. Third, the door had locked. He just opened and closed his mouth, no sounds coming out. He looked like a fish.
Jev sighed, Time to have some real fun, he thought. Just then he used his invisibility power to make the doctors hand disapear.
Alyssa giggled behind her hands.
((Which hand? Left or Right? :P ))The doctor sighed, deciding that he must be imagining things. He let go of the doorknob, but when he looked at his hand, well, he actually didn't look at his hand. Because it wasn't there. "What's happened?" he exclaimed, looking at where his hand had been. To him, it looked like it was flat out gone. He felt like he was still able to move his fingers, but he couldn't see them.
((Lets go with the right one XD))Jev's eyebrows raised as he looked at the doctor. "Im afraid I don't know what you mean," he said, sounding truly puzzled though on the inside he was laughing.
((Helloooooo.))The doctor started at where his hand had been, eyes wide. "My hand's gone," he stammered, looking afraid and amazed. "I didn't even feel it."
Jev grew bored of messing with the doctor so he allowed his hand to return. "I think its time you left us alone with our friend." he said, unlocking the door as well.
Staring at the kid, the doctor nodded. He saw his hand return and felt relieved and panicked at the same time. Going to the door, he turned the doorknob, remembering it was locked. But when it opened, he was stunned and left without a word.
"We need to get out of here before he returns with more doctors." Jev said, not looking at Alyssa but locking the door with a flick of his hand. "Lets get you out of here King," he muttered as he helped the boy up and off of the bed.
Alyssa got up. "Need any help?" She asked sweetly.
King managed to stand, but he stumbled a bit. "A-already?" he murmured, slightly opening his eyes and groaning. His body hurt, and he didn't know how far he would be able to go before he would reach his limit.
"We're not going far, I spotted a hotel up the road from here." Jev explained, shaking his head at Alyssa. "I've got it, thanks." he said. "They fixed you up, but you'll be weak for a while. They saw your wings thats why we need to leave." he explained.
Ray had left the town after she'd helped the kids, stretching her wings. It was routine for her. Every afternoon, no matter where she was, she left the town she was in to fly. Now she was heading back into town, wings hidden, though she was aware of them more than normal. She kept hoping that the teens hadn't seen the feathers sticking out of her shirt, or if they did, they thought they were fake. Heading towards the hotel she'd been staying at, she went over her vision again, the one with the teens and the feathers. The whole reason she was staying in the town was because she'd seen a sign in the background and had narrowed it down to here or somewhere in Texas.
