Alyssa nodded. "Alright." She looked over to King and smiled slightly.
King nodded at Jev's explanation, sighing softly. "That's happened before..." He groaned and put a hand to his head.
"Well, if it happens again..I have an inhaler in bag. Do you wanna keep it? I haven't needed to use it in a long time." She explained softly.
Jev nodded towards Shiloh, "Be careful." he said, crossing his arms over his chest. It wasn't necessary for her to find out where they were, since he knew where they were going, but he didn't mind her finding out exactly where they were going.
Shiloh only nodded, already her wings were unfurled and a second later she had taken off into the sky. Gaining altitude quickly, looking down the flock were little circles on the ground. Now that she was alone, she sped off quickly in the direction she assumed was the nearest town.
Jev paced around, waiting for King to get well enough to get back on his feet and back to flying. The dangers of their looming journey into the School kept running through his head, but he wasn't nervous about it, just anxious.
Weston sighed softly, taking a seat on a bench and ignoring the knowledge that flooded his mind, rubbing his temples and running his fingers through his hair. Where to go, where to go. There wasn't anywhere to go, he could tell. This wasn't a friendly town, which Weston had gathered as he flew over, but he'd figured he should take a check. Clearly, that hadn't been a wise idea. For someone that knew everything, Weston was rather stupid.
((I KNOW WHERE YOU GOT HIS NAME NOW!!)(
((Hehehe I need to go to the library now! But my mundane father won't take me!))
Shiloh flew until she came across a town. She had to admit, it wasn't one of the nicer ones if California, but it should provide what she needed. Silently, she landed behind a building and pulled in her wings, feeling them fold perfectly along her back. Walking out from behind the building, she headed off towards a building that looked like it may have what she could use. Truth was, she didn't want to go into town just to gather information. No, it was more than that.
Jev walked back over to King and Alyssa, his bag slumped over his shoulder. "Lets start walking towards that town," he said as he helped King up onto his feet. "Shiloh will be able to see us from the sky so we don't need to wait for her." With one of King's arms around his shoulder's, Jev walked towards the town Shiloh and flown off to.
Alyssa grabbed her bag and she walked next to him.
King stood up when Jev helped him uo, but out a hand to his head and closed his eyes tightly. He sighed and slightly opened his eyes, their pale color filled with pain. "Okay, let's go..."
"We'll find somewhere to stay for the night so you can get better," Jev said to King as they walked towards the town.
King nodded a bit and closed his eyes, stumbling a bit before Hus legs gave out, causing him to lean against Jev completely. He coughed and wheezed, his body shaking.
Shit, Jev thought when he felt King leaning completely against him. They needed to get this kid somewhere he could rest and quick. He could see the town only a few more miles away from here.
King had sweat dripping down his face, "J-jev...I can't..." he suddenly doubled over, coughing and gagging.
Alyssa began to panic. "Jev..." Her voice shook. "He needs to go to the hospital."
Jev began to feel something strange, something he'd never felt before; panic. Just looking at King he knew Alyssa was right. "Dammit," he muttered along with a few other choice words. Picking King up easily he began to run towards the town, hoping there was a hospital here.
Alyssa panicked severely and she ran beside Jev.
King was breathing heavily and he slightly opened his blind eyes only to see darkness. He hated that sight, he wished he could see again. His thoughts were interrupted when he coughed.
"King. We're gonna get you better. I promise." Alyssa said as she ran.
((I feel bad for King. I have asthma and it sucks completely and totally, especially when trees bloom. Then there's pollen everywhere. I almost ended up in the hospital once. Then another time I had an asthma attack while in the mall. Not fun.))
((I have asthma. I had to get allergy shots for it from when I was 6 to when I was 11. My asthma is way better now.))
((I only have sports induced asthma, so I feel bad for you guys :/))Jev ran into the town which was thankfully bigger then he thought it would be. Which hopefully ment there would be a hospital.
((I hate asthma.......))
Alyssa looked for a hospital.
Alyssa looked for a hospital.
((I feel ya.))Ray walked down the sidewalk, wearing a normal tank top and shorts. Normal. Ha! She was anything but that. Just the other night she'd had a vision about a bunch of teens being in this town. While it had been murky, she'd sworn that she saw feathers on their backs. "I hope I saw it right this time," she mumbled to herself.
Jev was beginning to feel desperate, jogging quickly down the sidewalk as he looked for a hospital. Why couldn't the Whitecoats have taught him something more useful for situations like this? The only thing he was good at was surviving, not helping.
Stopping for a moment to look around, Ray frowned slightly when she spotted a guy running down the sidewalk. The part that worried her was that he was carrying someone. She ran across the street to them, thankful that there weren't many cars. "Want some help?" she asked.
Jev stopped abruptly when a girl ran over to him. Looking her over closely for a moment, he determind she wasn't an eraser. Though there was always the posibility that she was working with the School, but he had to take a chance. "Where's the nearest hospital?" he asked her quickly.
Ray was about to say that she didn't remember, feeling bad about it. She'd only been in the town a few days and didn't remember its layout very well. Then she didn't, glancing around instead, narrowing her eyes slightly. Hoping she didn't look very strange, she looked for it discreetly, silently thankful for her eyesight. "That way," she answered, pointing east. "Tall while building. It'll be hard to miss."
Shiloh knew she should hurry, so she walked faster. She hated going slow, it all seemed like slow motion when you had super speed. She zipped to one of the ATM machines outside a convenient store and managed to hack into her parents bank account as she has done countless times before. They never noticed, this was more of a game for her now, and the money she took was replaced within the next ten minutes. After waiting five long minutes, the machine dispensed two hundred and thirty three dollars. Next was to look for a store that would have the supplies she would need.
Alyssa was panicking like crazy.
"Thanks," Jev said said quickly being running off in the direction she had pointed towards. He would have flown there if the girl wasn't around, but since she was flying wasn't an option.
Shiloh adjusted the straps on her bag as she sped down the sidewalks, everything blurring around her. Which wasn't the best idea since she was trying to read signs. Realizing this, she slowed to a jog, and looked around, finding nothing of much interest. That was until she came across a market, which would have to do, seeing as it was the only useful store around. A hardware store would have been nice, but she didn't haven time to go around all day for it. So Shiloh slipped inside as the automatic doors slid open. Immediately, she headed to the hardware department, keeping her head down as she did so
Ray nodded, watching them for a moment, hoping the guy he'd been carrying would be okay. She turned away, then noticed two feathers poking out of her chocolate brown tank top, near her shoulder. "Crud," she muttered, hiding them quickly. "I need to wear a jacket with this thing." Silently, she hoped that the people she'd just talked to had been in too much of a hurry to notice. Otherwise there'll be a lot of explaining.
((*cough, cough* Hint, hint, to anybody any characters that haven't made it down the block yet. *cough, cough*))
((Oh Iz, haha XD))Jev finally reached the hospital with King in his arms. Quickly he ran into the emergency room and up to the desk where a bewildered looking nurse sat staring at him. "Please help him, he's not breathing." he said quickly.
Alyssa looked at the nurse and she stood shaky breaths.
((I think Alyssa should be the one to have noticed the girl's feathers ^^))Jev answered the questions the nurse was spouting out at him, using only fake information, as they took King off on a stretcher into another room.
Alyssa looked at Jev. "Jev?" She had seen feathers on the girl.

Shiloh watched the flock before looking around. "Ill head into town and see if I can find out where we are," she said, assuming no one knew where they were. If she didn't, and she had lived in CA for a bit, then odds were that they didn't.
