King shook his head, "I just can't seem to fall asleep...its like my body refuses to sleep..." He breathed heaviky as he felt nauseous, slightly opening his eyes and wincing. He was pale and his skin was glistening with sweat.
Shiloh looked around to make sure no one was around. Luckily, they had landed in a place that seemed deserted. "Do you know why that is?" she asked evenly. "You know if you can't rest, your body will completely shut down on you?"
Alyssa curled up on the ground and she drew.
Jev's eyebrows knit together in concern, why was this the first he was hearing of this? "Well try and relax. We've got watch, so don't worry." he said, doing a quick three-sixty to check the area.
King swallowed thickly, "Y-yeah...I know..." He then shakiky stood up but fell to his hands and knees, gagging and coughing. "Damn it..." He clenched his teeth and shook.
Shiloh quickly grabbed Kings shoulder to try and keep him from falling. "Just calm down and some rest. We aren't in a hurry right now," she said, her voice sounding as close to sympathetic and soft as it ever would.
Alyssa began to sketch a drawing of Shiloh and Jev.
King's breathing got heavier and hr coughed, "I-I feel sick..." He murmured, closing his eyes and letting himself go down to his knees. He put a hand to his chest as it got tighter before he curled up on his side and let sleep take over. His red cheeks had sweat running down them as well.
Shiloh knelt down by King, making sure he was just sleeping, feeling for a pulse. She stood back up, making sure Alyssa had followed them down from the sky before turning to Jev. "Right now, I think all we can do is let him sleep. Unless you want to take him to a hospital," she said slowly. She didn't think he needed to go to the hospital, not yet at least. She would only want to go there as a last resort.
"No hospital," Jev said dismissively. "I'll keep watch, Im not tired." he said, taking a seat and leaning against the wall of a small shack they had landed by.
King coughed as he slept, suddenly opening his eyes and holding his throat, "J-jev...Shiloh..." He choked out, coughing harder. "C-cant...breathe..." He managed to say between coughs, his body shaking.
She jolted up, looking at King.
Jev got up and quickly went over to King. "Shit, thats not good." he muttered as he racked his brain for what to do. Why couldn't the School have taught him some useful things beside survival.
Shilohs eyes widened slightly and quickly knelt by King. Did King possibly have asthma? She really didn't know much about her flock members. Maybe ammonia? Tuberculosis? Okay, she had to admit that last one extreme, but in her defense she didn't know. "No kidding," she muttered in response to Jevs statement. Even if she knew how, she couldn't give him a proper exam without any tools. "You know what to do? Cause I got nothin," she said honestly to Jev.
Alyssa checked his pulse. She pulled an inhaler out of her bag.
Jev shook his head slightly, just enough for Shiloh to see, looking her in the eyes. "I really don't want to go to a hospital, but it looks like we might have to."
She shook up the inhaler to prepare it quickly.
Weston landed silently, folding his wings tightly to his back and crossing his arms over his chest with a soft sigh. Where was he now? Honestly, he hadn't the slightest idea. Weston had shut off his ability to know everything, so for once, he didn't have to know all of the town's gossip. There were better things he needed the space in his head for. Where to go, where to go...
Shiloh opened her mouth to respond when she head the shaking of what sounded like hairspray. She turned her head, frowning slightly at the noise, to see Alyssa with an inhaler. "Where did you get that?" she asked quickly, glancing at King every now and then, his coughing not getting any better
((Should I keep making my guy or change 'im to a girl? Trying to help with the boy/girl ratio.))
"My bag. It's for emergencies." She explained and sprayed the medicine down his throat from the inhaler.
((Make a... Well, it don't really matter. I think we've got like 3 guys and 2 girls as of right now... Not really sure...))

((I don't think it matters much right now. Whatever your heart desires))Shiloh nodded slowly. "Didnt know you had asthma," she murmured as she watched her use the inhaler. She didn't know what would happen to King if he didn't have asthma, but used the inhaler anyway. Guess they would find out, but she hoped it worked.
She prayed that the inhaler would work. "Haven't needed it in a while. My asthma was worse when I was little."

((Woop woop!))Jev backed up to give King some space. Sick people were never his speciality, he had always been trained to survive not so save.
King felt the air from the inhaler go down his throat and he gasped, coughing before he began to calm down. He closed his eyes and fell back asleep, his body shivering.
Alyssa draped a blanket over him gently as he fell back asleep.
Jev walked over to Alyssa and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Nice job." he said, nodding towards King. "You might have just saved his life."
"Thanks," She smiled proudly at him.
Jev let go of her shoulder as he looked around at where they had landed. Thankfully California had many small towns, one of which they were at right now, though he didn't know which one.

King slept for hours before he opened his pale, blind eyes. He coughed a bit and groaned, "What happened?" He murmured hoarsely.
((Grrr, me too!))Jev walked back over to the others when he heard King's voice. "We think you had some sort of asthma attack. You wern't breathing, but Alyssa helped you." he explained as he pulled a water bottle out of his bag and handed it to King.
