Do you have a preference?

If you read in more than one format, what determines the format you use for a given book?

Zee (zeevillainouscaptain) | 1 comments I always prefer print books, but I sometimes read ebooks if I can not find the work in print, if the book is updated frequently, or if it's a work that has supplementary things like video or tests.

Rare (rarecat2) | 14 comments I am a convert! I had initially found reading ebooks not very satisfying, both visually and in the tactile sense. But it is so convenient that I have completely converted over to e!! I can read larger print, I can read with one hand while standing on the subway, I only have to bring one book with me on my trips - there are just so many pros I overlooked the cons.

Dawn Knight | 2 comments I read ebooks.. I can enlarge the text for easier reading and to hold onto compared to print books.. I still read large print books though

Donna | 5 comments I read both. I love borrowing ebooks from the library and not having to leave my home. However, if I really want to read a book that's not available then it's paper for me.

Eda | 3 comments Right now, I still prefer print books. I take it around and read a few pages at a time. I can see the progress I'm making. It feels good to the touch!

I love being able to enlarge the text, especially on those bumpy subway rides.

I also get Eda's point. When I'm in a long line or waiting for something to start, it's great to pull out a book and read a few pages. With my eReader, I have to power it up and that takes a little more time.

It's also great to have multiple books on the same device!
