He shrugged "i don't know but i will be doing something with a family for that whole day. 18 is massive in my family and is taken very seriously" he said softly, hoping she wouldn't ask if she could come.

Ari smiled and crawled into his lap. "I'm really happy for you, I know you'll love what I'm getting you. Anyways, should we be going to bed?" She asked with a yawn as she rested her head on his chest and looked up at him with her creamy brown eyes.
He nodded, looking into her eyes "you can go to bed, i'll watch Sophie" he said with a smile. He gently pushed some hair off her face and kissed her forehead.
Ari looked p into his eyes for a few more seconds, "Will you join me later?" She asked and traced her thumb over the back of his hand.
He was a little taken back by her question, not sure what she meant by join her. "Yeah i'll go to sleep later but you need to go to bed and not worry about the baby." He said softly, looking deep into her gorgeous eyes. He hoped thats what she had meant by join her; join her in sleep, but he had a feeling it wasn't. He felt so bad for being so affectionate towards her because he knew that as soon as he turned 18, any day he could find his true mate. And he would have to leave her.
Ari smiled and kissed his cheek before getting up, "Okay, I just worry about you. Night." She murmured and walked to her room. As she climbed into bed she thought of Zach. Hopefully he hadn't taken what she had said in a wrong way...
Zach walked up to Sophie's room and sat by her cot. She looked so small and innocent, like the most fragile thing in the world. He put his earphones in and pressed play, making sure the music wasn't too loud and that he could still hear if she began to cry.
Ari had her phone right next to her bed as it played soft jazz, it helped her to sleep. Her bedroom door was closed so that the light from the hallway didn't come in. The music wasn't too loud either, but soft so that she actually could fall asleep. After a few minutes, she slipped into a light slumber.
((Oh crap sorry. Btw i Like her room))After about 10 minutes Sophie started crying and Zach quickly picked her up and trie to hush her, not wanting to wake up Ari. "Sshhh" he cooed, rocking her slowly.
Ari blinked her eyes open, so used to waking up when Sophie cried. With a deep breath, she heard the baby stop crying not two minutes after she started. Zach must have been really good with babies. As this cycle continued for another hour, she got up and walked to Sophie's room. "I counted. She only cries about five times before you can sleep. It's late, we should sleep." She yawned and took his hand as she looked sleepily up at him.

He squeezed her hand and looked down at the sleeping Sophie "are you sure?" He asked with concern "what if she wakes up again?"
Ari wrapped her arms around his torso, "Then I'll take care of it. You need to sleep, you look tired." She murmured and laid her head against his shoulder.
He kissed her head "no i'm fine. I will come sleep but if she cries i will go work it out" he said stubbornly, picking her up and taking her to her room.
Ari kept her eyes closed as he set her down on her bed and opened them when she felt the pillow against her head. "You're too sweet." She murmured as she invited him in next to her. "Oh, and don't get any perverse ideas. I might be sleeping but that doesn't mean I want to wake up and hear you moaning about Megan Fox." She joked and looked up at him.
He chuckled, laying down next to her "please Megan Fox has got nothing on you" he said sweetly, rolling on his side and propping his head on his arm so he could see her clearly.
Ari turned so she could face him and kept her head on the pillow. "Oh, so now you're saying you'll be moaning about me?" She winked and giggled.
Zach smiled "i never said that but i can't promise anything" he teased, gently pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear
Ari blushed lightly but shrugged it off, "You perv." She said jokingly as she cuddled close to his side.
He laughed and laid down close to her "come on its late" he said softly, pulling her close.
Ari took his arm and wrapped it around herself. "It's cold." She murmured as she pulled the blanket around them. Only this moment did she realize she was only wearing underwear and a long T-shirt, but she didn't care too much.
He smiled and tucked the blanket in around her "goodnight, sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite" he whispered
Ari smiled and kissed his cheek, "Goodnight." She said sweetly and closed her eyes as she was lulled into a sound sleep with him pressed up next to her.
The next morning Zach woke up first. Not wanting to disturb Ari he stayed cuddled up next to her and watched her beautiful sleeping form. He knew he shouldn't be falling for her this close to his 18th but he couldn't help but feel something between them
Ari moved around in her sleep so that she was basically half on top of him with her head on his chest. "Zach..." She murmured in her sleep and made a few weird noises. She murmured a few things that weren't the most appropriate either. As she continued to doze, you could tell she was a having a bit of a... dirty dream of him.
He held in his laugher at her weird behaviour but his vibrated because he was laughing on the inside. He watched her with curiosity, wondering what she was dreaming of.
Ari suddenly woke from her dream, blinking her eyes open. "You're laughing... Did I say anything in my sleep?" She murmured with a crimson blush on her cheeks.
He traced the back of his hand down her crimson cheek "just a few things why?" He teased, a cheeky smile on his face.
Ari blushed. "I had a really... Interesting dream." She murmured. "What exactly did I say?" She asked hoping it wasn't too bad.
Zach chuckle at that "my name and a few other inappropriate things which shall not be repeated" he said with a smile, knowing she was so embarrassed.
Ari felt her face go a new shade of crimson, "I um... Er.... Sorry..." She said and looked down at her hands and crawled off of him.
He caught her hand as she pulled away "Ari its fine really" he said softly, siting up and squeezing her hand "it nice to know that you dream about me because i dream about you" he admitted with a tiny blush.
Ari looked up at him, "Y-You do? But.. I'm sure you don't have those kind of dreams... And we're just friends, Zach..." She didn't know if she wanted to be closer, but figured she wouldn't say anything since he probably didn't feel the same.
He hesitated slightly when she mentioned just being friends. They both knew they wanted more and he felt bad for not asking her out but it was too risky this close to his birthday. "Yes i do have dreams and i know we are only friends"
Ari bit her lip and blushed a darker shade of red, "You have... dirty dreams about me?" She asked as she looked down at her hands.

((Yeah sure))He laughed a little "i never said that you perv" he teased, poking her arm playfully.
Ari blushed, "Oh... Well... This is awkward, because I kind've just had one about you if you couldn't tell." She said and crawled on top of him. "Happy birthday." She murmured.
Zach smiled at her blush but it faded at her comment "oh crap i forgot about that" he said bitting his lip and running a hand through his hair. He really needed to get home.
Ari smiled and got off of him. " I wanted to be the first one to tell you. You should probably be heading out. Promise you'll come. And see me afterwards?" She said sweetly.
He smiled and kissed her forehead "i promise Ari i'll come as soon as i can" he said softly, hoping that when he found his true mate nothing between them would change.
Ari smiled and kissed his cheek, "Okay, see you later." She said sweetly as she unlocked the door for him downstairs and opened it.
He grabbed his guitar and gave her one last kiss on the cheek "i'll be back soon don't miss me too much" he teased, walking out to his car and driving away.
Ari smiled as he drove away, missing him already. She sighed as she walked to Sophie's room to see the baby still asleep. A smile spread across her lips, she still had time to get a few things done. She would have to give him his present later.
Zach's party was huge and his whole family was there. He was finally given a permanent place in the pack and appointed as Beta. Everybody kept on telling him that he was special and strong as his mate marks were already tracing along his shoulder blades and neck. Now all he had to do was find his mate: the girl who was getting marking that fit perfectly into his.
Ari didn't notice the faint marks on her shoulder and neck as she busily wrapped his present. She had gone all out and gotten him and electric guitar. He'd always wanted one for as long as she could remember and she knew he would love it.
Eventually the party died down and Zach managed to slip away. Making sure he wore a t-shirt that covered his new markings he got in his car and drove back to Ari's house. "Knock knock" he said through the wire door and he waited for Ari to come and open it.
Ari smiled and finished wrapping it just as he knocked on the door. Still she hadn't noticed the markings on her arm and shoulder that matched his perfectly. Through her sweater you could kind've see them, but she came to answer the door right away. "Hey! I have a present for you." She said happily and pulled him inside to where the big box was on the couch.
He smiled at the huge box sitting on the couch "Ari..." He complained, looking at her with an overjoyed but annoyed expression "you know i hate it when you overdo my presents."
