Here are some of the general plots for romances(that I can remember):
(Any of them can be supernatural (vampires, werewolves, etc.) if you like)
Bad boy/good girl (vice versa)
Alien/human
Best friends
Forbidden love
New girl/guy (vice versa)
Bully/victim
Popular girl/nerdy boy (vice versa)
Partners in crime
Teacher/student
Brother/sister
Enemies to lovers

I've always enjoyed best friends, so how about we go with that one? I was thinking we could have both of them or just one of them be supernatural and never told the other?

Ooh! Maybe the boy could be a werewolf and imprints on her? I typically prefer being the girl if it's okay with you, I know it's annoying to say that. >.<

Ari sat asleep in the library on the old couch. Her headphones played music in her ears. She always waited in the library for Zach every morning so they could talk for awhile before school.

Zach walked into the library and saw Ari laying asleep on the couch. He walked up beside her silently and put his face inches from hers. "Ari, wake up" he whispered, even though he knew she wouldn't be able to hear with her music and poked her in the belly.
Ari slowly blinked her eyes open and saw how close he was. A grin passed over her lips and she took her headphones out. "Morning." She said and wrapped him in a gentle hug.

Ari giggled, "Its not so easy. My little sister keeps me up all night." She murmured and smiled at him. "She wakes up every hour crying, she's only one."

Ari rolled her eyes, "Haha very funny. It doesn't work, I'll feel bad if i don't help her go back to sleep. Plus, my mom will get mad at me if Sophie wakes her up." She said and took his hand, tracing small circles in his palm.

Ari shrugged, before taking the rose from behind her ear and placing it gently in his hand and closing his fingers around it. "I don't know... She's tired a lot too, being a single mom and all.. But its not fun having to take care of her all the time. I'd rather spend my time with you." She murmured and looked down at her hands.

Ari smiled as he kissed her hand, "I know... I just.. I don't know what to think." She murmured and invited him up next to her on the couch.

Ari looked over at him as he placed the rose behind her ear once more. "No, I'm fine with it... I wouldn't trust a stranger with her anyways." She murmured as she lay her head gently on his shoulder and closing her eyes.

Ari wrapped her arms around his more muscular one as she kept her head on his shoulder. "I don't know anybody who would accept the job.." She murmured drowsily.

Ari had an idea, and looked up at him with a grin. "Would you do it?" She asked, giving him puppy dog eyes.

Ari smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thank you so much... Its not like you haven't been to my house millions of times before anyways." She said and crawled into his lap, laying her head gently on his chest.

Ari giggled and closed her eyes as his heart beat against her ear. "I won't. I promise. Unless you're actually going to stay over there when she's crying at night. Unfortunately we don't have a guest room, so you could sleep with me like we did when we were younger." She murmured and looked up at him with her creamy brown eyes.

Ari smiled, "Mom won't care, she's used to you being over. Plus, she's going to be on night shift all week, so we'll have the house to ourselves. Except for Sophie of course." She murmured and traced her finger slowly around his chest.

((Gtg to bed sorry))
((Okay))
Ari smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "It'll be hard to sleep if you're there, but I'll manage." She murmured and continued to trace random patterns on his chest with her finger.

Ari giggled and looked up at him. "No wonder people think we're a couple, we act like one." She said softly and wrapped her arms around his neck as he carried her.

Ari giggled, "Nah, I'm fine with it. I don't mind at all really." She murmured and took his hand in hers before intertwining their fingers.

He smiled and squeezed her hand as they walked out of the library and into the corridor.
((The schools))
Ari walked over to her locker and grudgingly let go of his hand. They had every class together except for the last two. Getting her things, she couldn't help but think about how she couldn't have a better best friend than him.

Ari rolled her eyes and closed her locker. "What are you saying, I'm never ready for math." She sighed and took his hand as she started on her way to class.

Ari let go of his hand as she sat next to him close to the front. "Look the two lovebirds were holding hands." She heard the girl next to her, Penelope, whisper loudly. Turning to glare at her, Ari narrowed her eyes. "We're just friends. Best friends." She growled and turned back to her journal. Letting out a sigh, she started to write down some more song lyrics to a song she'd been working on last night. Nobody had ever heard her singing, but her voice was heavenly. Not even Zach had ever heard her singing, because she was too scared to sing in front of anybody.
