"People don't know a lot about me. That's all behind though. A new life? More like the life I wanted to have," Karin smiled before taking a few comics and paying for them at the desk. By the time she paid for them it was about time for other places to open. She figured that they would rent a motel or something after going store hopping.

"Hey, why dont we rent an apartment. I can cover the first couple months of rent." He suggested going through the store with her. He spotted one of his favorite foods as a child. His mouth almost watered at the sight, but it also made him sad, from the memories.
Karin replied almost absentmindedly, "why not?" before seeing Derrick literally drooling like a Newfoundland. "You hungry?" Karin asked trying to see what he was looking at.
He pushed himself out of his gaze. "No, I'm fine" and looked at her. "Excuse me," he said before walking to the bathroom. He sat and looked at himselfnin the mirror and cried softly. He hated his parents, but he missed them so much
Karin waited patiently outside the bathroom door. She could hear the faint sound of whimpering. She desperately wanted to go in there and comfort him, but she was a girl! If he didn't come out soon though, she would bust into the bathroom.
After a few minutes of letting himself go, he stops. His crying turn to just a few sniffs. After he pulls himself together he comes back out. "Sorry, I didnt want to cry infront of you" he said softly as he walked passed what he was looking at, without even a second glance, he followed her to another Isle.
Karin turned to Derrick, "Why don't we look for an apartment? It's been a long night/day." She smiled at him hoping this would cheer him up. It was true though, Karin could use some rest. The stress of running away coupled with her new life made Karin exhausted.
"Well lets go, we will worry about groceries later" he told her softly. He already had the apartment in mind. It had a beautiful complex, and it was a three bedroom apartment. It had plenty of room. He lead her to the main office. He filed the paperwork and bought the first couple months in cash(!he went to an atm first)
Karin thought to herself, 'damn he was prepared'. Almost immediately after walking into the room Karin rushed to the master bedroom. It was gigantic! And so soft. She felt like she was floating on a cloud and began to doze involuntarily. Before she could fall asleep she stripped. Beckoning Derrick over to the bed.[[do you want to continue in pm?]]
"Someones feeling awful froggy arent they" he smirked and admired her gorgeous body for a second, before shyly stripping himself aswell. He slid into the bed with her.
