I was wondering about how you came about this book was it on recommendation or did a friend lend it too you. My sister owned it so that's how I came about it, though I probably would have read it sooner or later.

My best friend dragged me into the cinema to watch this Percy Jackson film. I'd had no idea what it was all about. Then I found out that it was actually a movie adaptation, so I read it ^-^

Loved the book, but hated the movie. Isn't that always the case?

I didn't really like the rest of the books... The Sea of Monsters was all right. :)

I had to read it last year for summer reading. I'm really glad that I read it =) The movie is different from the book, but I liked both the movie and book. I prefer the book because it has more details and you can let your imagination run wild.

I saw the movie and then decided to read the book, because something always gets lost in the movie adaptions and because the book is almost always better than the movie :) It wasn't my favorite book, but I liked it :)

When I was in fifth grade my friend and I were looking at the library books and she picked up the Sea of Monsters, telling me to read it because it looked like something I would like. I skimmed through the chapter titles and laughed the book off because I thought it was "weird". She was actually interested so she got the Lightning Theif a few days later (although, she never read it:( ). A few years later, I was in the movie theaters and saw the trailer for it. I remembered it being the same book we were laughing at the chapter titles and I was suddenly curious. Read it. Now it's one of my all-time favorite books. I guess you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover and if something's meant to be, it will find its way back to you.

I'd heard about Percy Jackson for a while, but I didn't know what it was about.. When I found out it was about greek mythology I downloaded it to my phone right away. :P
