KARMA ((a fanfic.))

Today was a special day for Karma. It was her eighteenth birthday, and all of her friendswerehere, even Alli. Karma has known Alli sinceshe wasjust aSentret.

“Here you go! Made it myself.” Alli says handing Karma agift. “It’s a sculptureof you I made outta sticks.”

Karma smilesather and sets the giftaside. “Thanks, but I really don’t deserve all this.”

“Aw, sureyou do! You’remy best friend. Oh, my little brother hassomething for you too.” Alli stated stepping aside so her brother could deliver his gift.

“I… made you t-this.” He said shylyholding up a painting. Itwas one ofthose scribble-scrabble paintingsthat little kidsmake. Although it wasn’t the best Karma accepted it.

“Thanks Joey it’s really cool.”She smiled. Joeyreturned thesmile and walked awayhappy.

“Alright Karma.” Her father called “Timeto head ho-“ A loud noisepierced everyone’s ears, a bright flash blinds them for amillisecond. Her father’s eyesgrow wide ashe fallsover, acrimson fluid leaking from his head. A second “BANG!” was heard. Everyone began to scramble, all but Karma, who sat there looking around in fear.

“What’sgoing on?!”

“What was that?!”

“Why is thishappening?!” Manyof her friends and family shout these questions.

“JOEY!” Alli yelled running to crying brother. “Are you alright? Are you hurt?”She asked frantically. Hejust looked up at her, red liquid spilling from his mouth. “Oh my god… i-its going to be alright.” Shepanicsand runs off with Joey on her back to get medical help.

Karma looks at her father’smotionless bodyblankly. What was happening? “D-daddy?” She asks shoving his body with her paw. Nothing happened no movement nothing.

“Karmawe haveto leave!” Her mother called “We have to go!” But Karma just continued staring. What was going on? Surelyhe isn’t… no. He’s faking it. Hehas to be.

“Getup…” shecries between sobs. “Get up…”

“He’snot getting up!”her mother cried. “Let’sgo!”

Karma ignored her. “Get up…GETUP!”

“Karmacome on!”

“GET UP!” shescreeched in apsychotic manner, beginning to laugh hysterically. Her mother growled in frustration and began pulling her awayfrom her father’s motionless body. Karma shrieked and flailed like a madman, but her mother continued pulling her away.

That night, Karma waslocked in her room byher mother. She could hear her cries down thehall. Karma just stared at the wall blankly digging her clawsinto it. “Hahahah…” she smiled a disturbing smile and sat on her bed. Thiswas it. That wasthe last straw. Karma had finally lost her innocence. She had snapped.

“Hahahaha…HAHAHAhaHAHA!” She laughed insanely as she proceeded to dig her claws into thewall, sharpening them. Sheknewwhat shehad to do. Shecontinued clawing at thewall until the crying of her mother stopped. She knew she had cried herself to sleep. Her glowing red eyes drifted to the door.

She looked at her paws, sharp claws extended. She had atwisted idea. She began digging her claws into herself, ripping chunks of flesh everynow and again. A hugepiece of her tail wasmissing and you could see the bone. Her smile grew wider. The feeling was wonderful. To cause harm…she wanted more. She slowly hopped off her bed of leavesand walked over to the door. Sheknewit waslocked, but she had another idea.

“Humph.” She scoffed at her mother’spathetic attempt. “How sad, thinking you can so easily confine me.”She then smashed through the door with her paw, rage giving her power. She continued punching the door until there wasa big hole in it. She poked her head through it, examining everything with her lifeless, red eyes. She walked outside the broken door. Then ran through the tree houseand into theforest, her tattered ear twitched, hearing a noisefrom inside thehouse. She ran off to her destination. She smelled the air. In the distance, shecould smell therotting flesh. She smiled to herself and ran in the direction of the sent.

When she arrived at her destination, she scurried to her father’sbody. “I’m here father. I am here to kill. I am here to die.” Sheslowlyturned her head with a sharp tooth smile as soon as she heard aclicking noise.

“Shhh… I seea Purloin.” A figure said.

“Sweet lets skin the sucker.” The second figurelooked at the first. “Too bad weshot that Luxray instead of the Liepard. The boss would have loved to use its hidefor clothing or something.”

“Yeah, but Purloin hide isstill good, although… this one looksstrange.”

Karma watched as thefigurespointed their rifles at her and her smilegrew. “So you wanna play?”

One of the figures looked at the other. “You understand it?”

“Nope, let’s kill it.”

Karma began running on all fours, dodging thebullets. “How pathetic.” She scoffed. Thebulletsand Karma both stopped.

“Out of bullets.”

“Me too.”

Karma walked up to them slowly, smiling wider. The two figurespulled out some clubs. “Let’s smash itsskull open.”One of them said. Karma ran towardsthem, claws outstretched, readyfor the kill.

“Hey lookout!”

“Wha-“

Karma tackled one of them to the ground and began digging her claws into hisface. Red poured from hisface, as hisfriend watched, dumbfounded. Karma proceeded to gouge out the victims eyes, as he continues to scream. The other lifted the club and was about to slam it into her. When Karma looked up suddenlyand tackled him. She sliced open the figure’s chest and could see his insides. Her smilegrew as the figure screamed. Karma reached in and grabbed his kidney and continued removing parts from his bodyuntil shefinallyripped out his heart and devoured it. Theother figure wasattempting to get away so shejumped on his face and jammed one of her claws through hisskull. A sickening cracking noise was heard as thefigure stopped breathing. Karma then proceeded to lick her coatclean of blood and other substances. Her ear twitched as she turned around, smiling. Her mother was there with Alli standing besideher. Their jawswere dropped, and theywere frozen in fear.

“K-karma?” Alli stuttered “Did you just?” Karma’s mother looked at her wideeyed.

“Oh, hello dearest mother. How wonderful it is to see you.” Karma said in an unsettling tone.

“Karm-”

“Silence mother!” Karmacut her off. “You left him and you confined me. I hate you.” Shestopped and smiled “It’s your turn to die.”Tears leaked from Liepard’s eyes and Alli couldn’t stop shaking.

“Karma it was for you own good. Please stop this.” She pleaded.

“It’s abit late for that isn’t it?” Karma laughed. “Enough talk its time to die.” Karma began running at her mother grinning wickedly. Her mother couldn’t run. Shewasn’t fast enough. Karma leapt on her mothersbackand grabbed her head. Before anything could be said, shesnapped her neck. Her mother’sbody slumped to thefloor and Karma hopped off. Alli was paralyzed with fear.

“What’swrong? Don’t you wanna play? We can be friendsforever…” Karma purred.

“S-stay away…”Alli said slowly backing away.

“Oh? I thought we were friends, do you not love me anymore?”Karma asked advancing on her former friend.

“Just stay away!”Alli exclaimed.

“Finethen. I seehowit is… Traitor!” Karma growled pinning Alli to a tree.

“No.” she cried. “Please. Let me go.” Alli begged asshe struggled in her attackers grasp.

“Shut up!” Karma growled as sheswung her claws towards Alli. Alli’s head fell to the floor. She was decapitated. Karma threw her bodydown grinning widely. “Karma’s a beach. Isn’t it?”

She then lifted a claw to her own chest and stabbed it through her heart. She fell over on thegrass dying with a disturbing smile on her face. Yes today was a special day.

CHAPTER 1 ((my own fanfic.))
The air was cold that night, the night I met her. I was taking my usual midnight stroll through the town when I saw the park, feeling a bit adventurous that night I decided to walk off the set trails and explore the wilderness. It was beautiful a clear sky, a wonderful moonlit forest and not a single city sound. I sighed happily as I walk the unseen path, then I heard crying. I sprinted toward the sound only to find a creature on the ground crying.
"Are you alright miss?" I asked hoping she was just a figment of my imagination. She didn't reply nor did she stop crying. I walked closer until I was right next to her. Now I was closer I could see her features. She was tall with black fur and her fur had some shade of red in curtain spots. I couldn't tell what her face looked like because she was hiding in her paws.
"Miss?" I asked starting to back away. She looked up her eyes widened with fear. And just like that she was gone. I stood frozen 'Where could she have gone?'
* * * * * * *
I found myself starting at my ceiling thinking about her. Who was she? Where did she come from? Why was she crying? These questions flooded my mind. "Hello?" someone called, I looked up and saw my roommate. "Ready for the best fall festival of your life?" He asked. Well at least I think that's what he said I stopped listening when I saw it was him. "Dude!" He snapped. I looked at him. "What's got you all spacey today?" I motioned him to sit across from me. After he sat I told him what I saw.
I told him about my walk up to now. Naturally he didn't believe me. "There is no way you saw that." He stated. This perked my interest "What do you mean?" I pressed "Do you know what she is?" At first he ignored my questions and paced the room mumbling to himself. "If you saw what you described, then that means..." He paused "You saw a Zoroark!" He yelled in my face.
He was really exited until I asked "What's a Zuroark?" He looked like I shot a dog without remorse.
"A ZOROARK is a rare Pokemon that lives in Unova, and it is the best." He said.
"Sounds pretty lame." I grinned. His face pinched up in anger, but he said nothing. "Any way I'm going to the store, you want anything?" I ask grabbing my coat. He says nothing as I walked out. I wasn't really going to the store, I wanted to see her.
* * * * * * *
I got there and went to the pond where I had seen her. I had brought some food and a six pack of Mountain Dew and was prepared to wait.
It wasn't long before I was chugging my first drink and snacking on something. "What if it was a dream? What if she doesn't come back?" I ask myself. I shake the thoughts away and continue waiting for her.
* * * * * * *
Hours pass and I see the light disappearing over the horizon. I sigh heavily and lay on my back. Empty cans and food wrappers are all across the ground. I sit up, pick up my trash and put it all in a bag, then tie it shut. "She's not coming..." I say to myself. Feeling disappointed I head back.
On my way back I feel like I'm being followed. So I turn and see nothing but the street lights and a few people walking. "Must be my imagination." I reassure myself continuing my walk home. But that feeling doesn't go away it gets worse. So bad that I'm practically running backwards home.
I get home, slam the door shut and lock it. "You alright?" My roommate asks. "Y-yeah." I answer "Just dandy." He nods at my answer as I go straight to my bedroom.
I lay on my bed not able to sleep, not able to forget. My eyes finally get heavy and I drift into a deep sleep.

Anyway, here's the best Pokemon fanfiction I've read to date.

No Antidote // FalconPain
Bulbasaur and his trainer had an agreement: they would make it to the Pokémon League, or go down trying. So even when faced with utter tragedy, he decides that he and his trainer will live up to their promise. By any means necessary.
