Chris I'm writing on behalf of a new author whose work I prepped for self-publishing. He's a clinical psychologist with a wild, heartbreaking story, a brutal sense of humor, and a sincerity that I (a much more cynical person) would aspire to. The first half is the story of an event in his life (he was very intricately scammed by his family), and the second is more inspirational; a discussion of how to make life work after it bottoms out.

Anyways, he wants people to take a cursory look and offer their thoughts. He's very gun-shy and worries that it's God-awful but that nobody will tell him (since no strangers have read it.) Only a paragraph or so is necessary, really. I can offer any digital format (including epub and mobi), as well as PDF laid out for print.

This is a first book, and perhaps in some ways it's built like one, but there are some moments here that ought to be overly sentimental but aren't. There are places in this book that I would argue are much better than a lot of what I see nowadays -- and remember, I don't know this guy (I just helped him with his cover and whatnot.) Help me encourage him, as well as shore up his weaknesses? It'd be much appreciated! If you leave an e-mail address and the file(s) you'd prefer, I can send right away.

JE | 11 comments I can do that if you'd like.
If you have it in doc format, that would be best for me; if not, I read on an iPad, or could handle a PDF
You could send it to jelaine115@gmail.com

Chris Sorry, for some reason I missed that anyone had replied! (Notification went to my spam folder.) I'll e-mail you a Doc and an EPUB. The author will be very appreciative.

This may sound bad, but I read like a copyeditor. I majored in English, so I nit pick at things like typos and such. But I'm more than willing to help in any way I can.
