Brakedrum | 1203 comments Again, another slow month for me. Hubby goes to radiation every day and chemo IV drip once a week for a period of 6-8 weeks. He's been on it for two weeks now, almost half way in his treatment. I kept getting interupted in the various waiting rooms. Plan on going out for dinner for my birthday: November 4th.

W is for Wasted by Sue Grafton
Kinsey Millhone is contacted by police. A body in the morgue has her name and number on a slip of paper. Also another P.I, an acquaintance of Kinsey's is found murdered. While she investigates these cases she finds they are connected.
Good read, been awhile since her last book in this series.

I am a bit behind in the Grafton alphabet books. Need to catch up again!

BarryP (barrypz) | 3503 comments I was thinking of your ride on the Natchez Trace, but it was almost 1000 miles to get to the start, so more likely I will do Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway if I go south, or around the Great Lakes if I go north.

Barry, please check on the status of the Blue
Ridge. They had heavy rains which washed out some of the roads. http://www.nps.gov/blri/index.htm

BarryP (barrypz) | 3503 comments Thanks, that closure map could prove useful in the spring. Hopefully they will work all winter at improving my riding experience.
