Ah, you didn't need "Maltese Goddess" because you have my very favourite author. I've wanted to note: every single 'cozy' fits "My Kind Of Mystery"! Moche works for my 'nations' category too in "Gentle Spectrums". LOL! Carolyn. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/
No, thankyou. I think Ive got all of this series sitting waiting patiently on one of my shelves. Im really enjoying this series so far. I was a bit disapointed with Lucas though, thought it was quite a sad ending really for Lara. Hope she gets some better news in the next book.
I reiterated above, I see you have my favourite author and I'm pleased about it. That isn't the most important message. You have my e-mail about linking the same mysteries and mystical subjects also with ME! :)
I hope I don't exasperate you, my friend. Hehehe! I own tons of Laura to be read. Somehow, yet again, you manage to have one of the few I'm missing. Dare I ask? {GIGGLE!}
Unfortunatly this one is a bookcrossing book and has already been reserved for another bookcrosser :(
It's okay! I have many more Laura before I reach that one. You say "yes" to everything else. I planned on e-mailing you again with more wonderful gratitude. I'll meet you there. :)
I'll be starting that too! I'm happy it's a 4/5. I need #2, 3, 5. I looked for a way to predict your reading but your folder is immense. I wanted to e-mail you since Thursday for other lovely topics if you didn't continue first. I'll look forward to that today! :) xoxo.
Happy birthday today to Emma, the sweetest friend anyone could want!I hope my card and two book packages so far, arrive soon. Love, Carolyn.
I'm surprised the Christmas package (Erika Chase) isn't there. Yours is. I wrote a gushing letter thanking you about absolutely every detail. :) You mailed it after Christmas. It says something about Canada Post that my week or two earlier parcel is toddling along. Anyway there is other mail since, to keep on greeting my very nice friend.
Hm, that series seemed too gory. I'll jump up and down when I see Shirley reaching your bedstand queue. Heehee!
Yea, it was a bit stomach turning at times, but I really enjoyed it :D Hope to get round to the 3rd Shirley soon.
Glad you confirmed that. I dislike gore but I ought to be proud of getting through two horror novels back to back. One by an up & coming independent author, one by an academy award-winner. Neither were gory nor scary but I bet they would be on film. Those darned music soundtracks twinge the emotions.
I didn't know you hadn't read #3. I love Tink fitting into their lives, although Abby was oddly pushy about getting that second dog earlier. And I found it so sad when her honeymoon plant died! What I memory I must indeed have: it's been over a year since I read this. Now we are LITERALLY both on the same page. It's the next three novels we wonder about.
Look forward to an e-mail about whether or not you need anything from the most recent giveaway list. You gave "Girl's Best Friend", 'cheesy' title aside, 5/5, eh? It was action-packed, scary, and original; especially if you read the intro when Victoria says she was paid to write a book but had to sift newspapers for ideas.I gave it a 4/5 because the principal could have told everything they needed to know, from the beginning if he hadn't lied. His purposes for lying were flimsy, when he hired them to solve the problem and he did blurt every past and present detail in the end; too easy when it was time to wrap the book up. I took that into consideration. She was only needed for the banishment.
They don't get better than the first, eh? I'll see if I care for them. What I need and might prefer, is the first novel of the scrapbook ones because they seem darker and possibly paranormal: "Keepsake Crimes". I have tons of sequels.
Prefer them to what, if you haven't tried the scrapbook ones? If you mean the bookstore and diner, I agree. I'll see if the second novel is better, however I preferred the first teashot novel. Many complained about the second so maybe it was an exception.
Let me know if you need anything on my last giveaway list. I acquired "Keepsake Crimes" unexpectedly ~ we'll see how that goes. I think I gave 4 stars to "Night Of The Living Deed" too. You must have heard me say enough that I've been begging for adult ghost material, that isn't treated whimsically. I'm afraid this one does. I have high hopes for the others. I have nearly all.
F I N A L L Y. The subsequent one you read will be what I need next. The Mary Stanton collection if looks good to you, is all finished. ;)
With respect to Keepsake Crimes, I don't remember any paranormal aspects to that series. That's not one of my favorite series....Kathryn
