I don't really know about this. I mean what if she ends up still having feelings for the other guys she liked. I don't want Leo's heart broken. I just don't trust her yet. I hope it works out thought it would be soooooo cute.
Come. On. Calypso herself committed (I'm actually not sure if she did) that Leo wasn't like others who ended up on her island! I also think that judging Leo by his looks and hating him while she liked Percy before he even opened his eyes wasn't fair to Leo. Seriously though, as they grew on each other and Calypso saw Leo for the amazing guy he truly is, it was really sweet. :)
Yea I think you're right. I was not sure about it but now I really hope that they get together!
I was a little iffy at first but the idea grew on me and now I'll be really mad if they don't get together!

I kinda stopped caring after a few days?? Like, I realized I was hoping Calypso would be some awesome warrior chick or something who's just like, "Oh, Percy got a girlfriend? COOL, I'm just gonna save your butts from monsters and stuff cause I'm a free woman" but her entire existence was to kinda help Leo and give him a love interest and I'm so mad about that?
We found out that Calypso is actually pretty vain in some ways, or just really judgemental. I mean, before she even gives Leo a chance, she comments on how ugly he is which really surprised me. It was like, with the ever-hot Percy Jackson she's an angel, btu with Leo (whom she was understandably upset with for crashing into her island like that), she asks if the island was joking with her, sending someone like Leo. Hot guy or no guy, right?
But hey, if they do more than just make out when they re-unite, that's cool by me. I just wanted more from Calypso, y'know?
I like them. And I would explain why and provide contradictory statements to Elihala but 1. I'm lazy

I see why you might have that opinion. I don't agree with you but I see how you might have that opinion. and I would like to thank you for showing me a different point of view on Caleo. I can see where you might think Calypso was kind of a jerk and not all that helpful BUT remember when she started being nicer and doing nice things for him while he was working hard on his project? That might not count for as much as I think it should but that's my opinion. I didn't like Calypso at first but think about it, if you were trapped on an island for helping out your family and the gods kept sending cute boys over and the second you fall in love they send a bout. I mean I'm pretty sure almost everyone would be cruel like that if that had happened to them. I mean I could be wrong though. But I just wanted to let you know my opinion before you completely sealed off Caleo.

I don't hate Caleo! I definitely do not, I think they're just a really mediocre ship, is all. I do remember when Calypso kind of learned more about Leo and started doing nice things for him, I thought that was sweet, but I just don't think they mesh well together, y'know? Calypso's characterization was a little bit frustrating for me, but she did get... better.
In conclusion: I ship them kinda but don't really care either way.
When I read that part...I was shocked. Because I thought we'd never hear from Calypso ever again.
I knew that Calypso was going to come back because Rick mentioned that she would make a special appearance sometime on his Twitter.
