SOLVED. Aliens and coffee [s]

It has been forever since I've read this series. I think its three book. Its science fiction. These big gray aliens take over earth. Then they take humans to other planets to see who habitable the other plants are. One of the main characters is a woman who ends up fall in love with one of the aliens that was dropped on the planet because some of the other aliens did not like him. The planet they and a lot of other people got dropped on had things that came out of the ground and ate some of them. So they went and lived in caves. the planet had to other inhabitants but was being cultivated by another group of aliens, like a giant farm. And some of the people and the alien got off the planet. But only to bring back supplies or something. they were planning on going back is the point. And they were going to make some money by doing dental work on the aliens because they liked to fight and had teeth missing. But they were also going to put jewels in the teeth and make them out of precious metals because I think the aliens like to show off their wealth. And then they found that aliens really like coffee. And the alien the woman had fallen in love with brought his sons back. I really hope someone out their knows this series!

Freedom's Choice by Anne McCaffrey sounds like it might be the one you are looking for.

ETA: I was thinking Freedom's Choice was the first but it's the second, I mixed up the names, the first book is Freedom's Landing . That's the one where they are left on the planet, folks get eaten by native creatures, the survivors move to the cave system, and they find out about the remote/robot farming.
