I know it's not kosher, but I'm using NaNoWriMo (unofficially) to finish a draft that already has 5,000 words. I just thought it might be a fun way to crank it out. Good look to everyone who is participating, officially or not!

Good look to everyone who is par..."If you still want to officially be counted in NaNo you just have to write 50k in November (meaning you don't count the 5k you already have). You are then a rebel :)
(there is a whole set of forums on NaNo just for rebels)
I, however, am not. I am starting completely from new, but I wish you luck!
Thanks Irene, that's really cool. I didn't know about the rebels. :) I guess I should up my daily word count goal!

I'd like to participate this year, but I really want to finish my current story, as I'm about halfway done with it.
