Started last night haven't really been able to get into it yet. I think cause I read another book I really liked after reading Matched. Oh we'll I'll keep trying :)

I actually don't like Crossed so far. I find the dual POV kind of confusing and unnecessary. And I don't like the transition between the ending of Matched and the beginning of Crossed. I am just in the beginning, though. I might change my mind later on.
But I feel like this book will be a slow read. The first few chapters really are boring.

@Tris I tried to read Crossed a little while ago. I really, really didn't like Matched but heard Reached is supposed to be a lot better so was going to try and get through Crossed so I could read it. I didn't end up reading past 12%. It was terrible. Like you said the two perspectives were confusing and, also like you said, I didn't even really get what was happening from the end of Matched to there. And it was just sooo dull and dry and boring. I just gave up! :)

I'm SO sorry I haven't posted. I've had a horrid cold/flu that has knocked me on my butt. So far I find that it is confusing but I'm not that far in. I'll be reading a lot more tonight. (I found the same thing happened when I read "The Forest of Hands and Teeth." I loved the first one but disliked the next two).

I'm really enjoying this so far. I quite like the dual perspective as I enjoy hearing what Ky's thoughts are. I think it worked well when he and Cassia are separated but now they are together again I don't see the point of getting both their perspectives.

Now that Cassia has found Ky, I feel that the story is moving at a much slower pace than in the earlier part of the book. Hopefully something more exciting will happen soon as they are about to meet Hunter.

I finished this yesterday. I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Matched. I felt at times the story was very slow especially after Cassia had found Ky. For the first half of the book, I enjoyed seeing Ky's perspective but towards the end I didn't like it.

Cassia was quite annoying in this book as she kept questioning her feelings for Ky which seemed a bit stupid seen as she left the Society to find him. The author seemed as if she just wanted to include a love triangle for the sake of it.

Although I didn't enjoy this book as much as Matched I still want to see how Condie wraps up the story in Reached. I find in trilogies that the second book is usually not as good as the first and last book.
