I thought it was good, but I agree she could have done better. I think she should have come up with some romantic good-bye for Gale or something.
I think she was running out of time until the release date.

I hate the pressure they put writers under. I agree that it seemed rushed and I think it could have been better if a little more time had been put in, but on the whole it was a good tidy ending and answered a lot of questions for me. It could have been worse :)
I Hated the end. One of the worst (it looses just for kissed by an angel the last book by Elizabeth Chandler). After everything she loses almost everybody. I felt like the book ended in 03 pages.
I was absolutely disappointed about the end. As it was very obvious that the writer rushed it to an end which was a shame for a very good trilogy.
i loved the ending i wouldn't change a thing i don't think it was rushed and so what if she was running out of time she ended it perfect!!!
Worse ending for a book series I've read so far. After everything that Katniss did, after everything that happened... that's the way it ends? It was truly horrible. That is all there is to it. The series was amazing up until the ending.
I didn't think it was a bad ending. I thought it was fitting. I'm not sure why people are so upset. It's over at that point. What else was supposed to happen?
SPOILERS COMING! STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.
It wasn't rushed. Katniss was nearly catatonic after seeing Prim killed. I'm kind of amazed she could function at all at that point, much less be able to stop the would-be tyrant who was to take Snow's place.
The only thing I would have liked to see was more detail in the epilogue. Other than that, it wasn't bad. If you want a crappy ending, check out Delirium! Awesome series completely ruined by the third book!

I couldn't agree more. This was the worst ending to any series I've ever read. Especially the last 150 pages of this drivel. I honestly wish I could re-write it for Collins and show her how a good series is supposed to end. I don't know if she just forgot how to write or if she suddenly lost her mind or just simply didn't care by this point but it was AWFUL and I will not ever be buying anything else she ever writes.

What in the world does imagination have to do with anything? It's not like I didn't get what the writer was conveying (that means 'what they were tryi

The ending felt to me like a betrayal. Katniss betrayed her old friend, in which Gale slammed her with him liking another girl. That left her with one person she THOUGHT as a metaphor the light. #IHateIt.

Yeah, I feel like it was rushed and I was disappointed by Mockingjay. I liked The first book the most.

Kinda funny really, because the execution scene was the only part of this book that I thought wasn't utterly terrible.
