Roberta Cook | 27 comments I know on my nook, I can go to my friends and search for a book-
but on the B&N website, I go to my friends, and I can see all the books, but how do I search for a specific book I want to borrow- there has to be a way other than going through pages and pages of books trying to find the one I want.. anyone have suggestions?

Roberta Cook | 27 comments I know, but if my friends all have over 1000 books combined, it would just be easier to search for the name of the book to see if anyone has it-rather than go through pages and pages-- know what I mean?

Cinthia (cinthiah) I haven't been able to see the pages of books on the b&n website for a long time now. I can click and see my friends, but when I try to see their books the pages just takes forever "loading", but it never does. So I'm stuck with having to look at each individual person on the nook. I wish they had a way to search for a specific book, like you're saying. I don't understand why they don't do it.

Cinthia (cinthiah) I spent a long time on the phone with them once, and they had me use different browsers, different computers, etc. I just eventually gave up. I don't know if it's because I have too many nook friends (over 200)?

Jeanie Jackson I have too many Nook friends to do a scroll and my Simple Touch does not allow for searching for a single title. It would be great to be able to search to see if a friend has a book. Fortunately for me, since I can hardly ever get to my friends Lend Me books, most of them belong to the same Facebook book group that I do. As a matter of fact, since the group now includes people with other ebooks it is the only way I can share my Kindle books. If you know most of your friends, you might consider setting up a group page on Facebook and inviting them to join to share books and to discuss them.

Linda (ponderinstuff) I'm having the same problem and can't find an answer. I just yesterday added my first Nook friends, but now I can't figure out how to search through the pages of offerings by my new friends.

By the way, feel free to add me as a Nook friend if you like fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, and classics. My email is L.L.M@zoominternet.net.
:-)

Linda (ponderinstuff) Thanks, Donna. I'll try that if I can ever get my Nook friends to come up. Ever since I started adding friends, it seems like my account just hangs when I try to access it. It takes forever for the page to come up. Almost makes me wonder if B&N doesn't want to make it too easy on their site for us to borrow from each other ;-)

I don't think they were prepared for us to have the number of friends or books that we do.

Kristy (kayhay000) I have the first addition nook. How do I review the books to borrow from the Nook? I have only viewed from a desktop.
