I've combined the two King quotes but actually the Wiki page is saying that the quote is unsourced which is Wiki-speak for 'it is possibly NOT his'. They say Robin Browne in 2010.
There is this link but a little more checking is called for

He made that comment a few years ago during an interview with (I think) Parade magazine. Ticked off a lot of Twilight fans in the process. Sorry, I don't have a link to source it.
