Good afternoon,
I'm Thomas, an engineering geologist. I find GIS very satisfying, but don't have much use for it professionally. Always looking for ideas that I can bring to my boss as billable hours.

This website is more oriented towards entertainment, but a fair number of instructional books are described, too. Since there is no other GIS group (that I know of,) this could become home to some interesting discussions.

I'm a GIS Technician for the City of Arlington(Tx) water utilities department. I'm always interested in keeping my skills up to date, particularly at a time when my employer is unable to provide for any GIS related training.

I am a geologist from Texas A&M & I just started training on ArcGIS 10.1
