Ed Ireland (edireland) | 40 comments I'm pleased to announce that Last Ranger has been re-tooled and now carries four extra chapters and several references that have cleared up a few mysteries and expanded some character backgrounds. Also, since this book is the start of a series it is now priced at 99 cents. Reviewers still get free copies upon request. It is available at Smashwords.com for right now pending redistribution.

J. Bennett (jbennett_gwbw) | 26 comments Congratulations Ed! One of the benefits of self-publishing is that you always have the option to make changes to your book to make it even better. I wrote a satirical vampire short story series, and my sister absolutely hated one of the names of the characters. Finally, after lots of nagging, I finally took the stories down, changed the name and re-published them. I may have confused some readers, but at least my sister is happy.

Ed Ireland (edireland) | 40 comments Hey J. Yes, that was a good perk to the self-pub route. My problem with this particular book was a real rookie mistake. There were a few things that I knew and for some unexplained reason I thought EVERYBODY would know just as well as I did. So after the first review the reviewer pointed it out to me and then held back her review so that I could fix it. So after 4 full chapters and who knows how many 1 and 2 line changes I feel a lot better about it now. Hopefully the review will support that feeling.
