Connie Cockrell (conniecockrell) | 2 comments First, I'm replying to let you know the link works. Yay! Good job!

Second. Umm, what can I ask? How about, Do you have a writing routine or do you write whenever you get a spare minute?

Connie Cockrell (conniecockrell) | 2 comments I tend to write in the afternoon when the hubby is taking a nap. That gives me a 2 hour window in which to focus on the new work.

But like everyone else, that schedule can be interrupted. Then I'll write in the morning or sometimes, late, after 9pm.

Editing is work for sure. I don't edit as I write, I want to get the story down first. Then I revise the book as a whole, looking for spots where I need to add description, make the characters deeper, catching continuity errors. After that I send to beta readers who catch the things I can no longer see because I've been in the book for so long.

Finally, after those corrections have been made, I give it to hubby who has a knack for line editing. He catches all of those remaining spelling errors, comma placement issues, etc.

Then I indie publish.
